I hate to say anything negative but unfortunately the remote did not work. It took a lot of effort to find the right spot to get the buttons to actually work when you push them. It is more than likely a fluke and the push pad wasn't lined up properly but i'm a zero patience kind of girl so i threw it across the room and disabled it for good!! I am NOT saying don't buy this product, just saying i got a bum deal. I'm sure the seller would have replaced it no problem but i didn't want the hastle.

Update January 2020.This piece of rubbish has lasted barely three months and now half the buttons are not working.Don’t buy this.——————-Daughter broke the last one in a fit of rage over Stinky & Dirty. This was a quick and cheap replacement.Good price but not sure of build quality and how long it will last. Sometimes the buttons need extra hard press.I'd buy again but knowing it's not the best long term replacement for the LG original.

The remote is turning the channel without touching any buttons. Also the volume goes up by itself. Good thing I did not throw old remote away

This remote works great. Works just like the factory one all the buttons work Like they’re supposed to it’s just like I get it brand new from the factory if you lost yours like my daughter(1yo) lost mineMake sure you have a spare. I highly recommend you get one.

Got this to replace the factory remote our 5-year-old lost. It works. But you have to press hard, and multiple times before the TV will receive the signal. Cheap plastic.Eventually found the original remote. You can definitely feel the difference in quality.But...it works.

This is my second one of these remotes. We usually have dogs chew them up before they die but this last one we protected and it lasted the good part of a year. Worked well and was super easy to just put batteries in and use! Highly recommend

This remote worked well for about 3 months, then a password prompt would come up on my screen. LG could not figure out the problem until I realized that the password prompt would not come up if I didn’t touch the remote. If I moved the remote at all (not touch any buttons) just shake it then the password prompt would come up. I took the batteries out the remote and can use the tv with the controls on the tv but the remote is now completely useless!

Really disappointed, although we shouldn’t be. This remote is made in China very cheaply. The buttons stick right out of the package. It’s labeled as an LG product, it’s just LG compatible. Half the weight of the original remote. While it does work, it’s very chintzy and time will tell how long it lasts.*NOTE: It’s not eligible for return! So the buttons stick every time you use it and I can’t return it!
