THESE BULBS FROM ‘FLSNT’ ARE A GOOD SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR 40W BULB. AT ONLY 4W THEY ARE A GREAT MONEY SAVER ON YOUR ELECTRICITY BILL & BETTER FOR OUR FRAGILE EARTH. AT £18.99 ($24.80 USD) THOUGH FOR FOUR THEY - IN MY OPINION - ARE RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. IF THIS TYPE OF BULB IS TO BE THE FUTURE, THEN PAYING VERY NEARLY £5 ($6.53) PER BULB WILL HAVE TO CHANGE, ESPECIALLY FOR BULBS. THAT YOU CANNOT EVEN DIM. I WOULD EXPECT TO PAY THE ASKING PRICE IF THEY HAD SOME KIND OF SHAPED FILAMENT FOR YOU TO SEE BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING THAT MAKES THEM STAND OUT. THEY ARE JUST AS I STATED AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS REVIEW, A GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR A STANDARD 40W BULB.

I really like the filaments on show, they look really vintage and the glass shade finishing has been done with an amber tint.The quality looks very good, these are 4W with an equivalent of a 40W incandescent light bulb, so same brightness yet costs less to run. The colour temperature is rated at 2700k offering 330lm. I've placed one of these in my steampunk table lamp and it looks very fitting.At £13.99 for 6 of these bulbs I would say that's very good value for money, happy to recommend.Here's some interesting facts about LED light bulbs, an LED produces light when electrons move around within its semiconductor structure. What more can I say other than the bulbs arrived well packaged initially I placed one at the top and bottom of my stairs in the ceiling lights they looked so nice I’ve used the remainder in other fittings around my home, they give a lovely soft light and are low wattage so will save me money as well. Take the plunge and give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

I am really not sure if these lamps are real glass or some plastic so handle with care.Tested one with my energy meter and they use 4.5 Watts of power when warm which matches the manufacturers claims.The light is a nice colour and look good (off or on) without a shade over them.No complaints.
