I ordered this bit a few months back and finally got around to using it. Used it with a circle jig in some 1” marine plywood and it left an amazingly clean cut. First bit I’ve used in my DeWilt DW618 that didn’t make the router scream. I will be buying more SpeTool bits if they’re all this good.

I recently switched to the SpeTool Compression Spiral Router Bit for my CNC, and the results on hard woods are phenomenal. The cuts are incredibly clean, with zero splintering, and the bit's durability is impressive. Even after numerous projects, it retains its sharpness, and the reduced vibrations offer unmatched precision. It's a solid upgrade from my usual Amana bits, and I couldn't be happier with the performance. This tool is now a non-negotiable part of my setup. Two thumbs up!

Please dont waste your money on this product.I purchased x2 of these, to cut MFC.On any pass it left the top surface all chipped to hell.Even the bottom was bad.I was expecting these to be the dogs, but in fact my older blunt bits from a reputable company work better.Don't say you have not been warned.

If you have already ordered the 7 piece starter set from spetool than go ahead and order this one! If you are looking for a great bit for super smooth cuts on your cnc, this is the perfect one. I use this bit daily and it works great! I got tired of trying to decide if I wanted to use a upcut or downcut bit, than I found this and my upcut and downcut bits have been side lined. It also has the ability to speed up my cuts alot! I will be buying more of these as I need!

I'm creating a product that is cut on both sides, and have always had to sand the edges to remove either the top or bottom "fraying". With this bit it's perfectly clean, so no fraying and no sanding😎 Will buy more if it lasts...
