Fits SW 737-700
This worked fine on the 737-700 planes that run from PDX to San Jose and from San Jose to San Diego. The 737's seatbelts are approximately an inch or two shorter than the seatbelts on the 800s and it's a royal pain sucking it in to try to buckle up the shorter seat belts. With this extender, it's all easy peasy. I have read that flight attendants won't allow you to use these, but I didn't make an announcement about it. I was not going to ask for one of theirs and then have one of them stroll down the aisle asking "now, which fatty was it that wanted an extender?" Now I just have to make sure I check my itinerary as to which plane I'm booked on!

It works on SWA, Yay!
I like that I have control over the length of the seat belt without a fuss. The 737's have a short length installed and I need it on them. The 738's and the MAX 8 have longer belts installed and I found I did not need it on them. Just be discreet and buckle up and remember to take it with you when you deplane. No need to bother the flight attendants. The belt extender has all the Federal requirements on a tag attached to it. Fully qualified. Be comfortable!

Be quiet about it. Don’t tell the flight crew you have it
A lot of people saying it doesn’t work but it has for me. People are saying southwest won’t allow this and they won’t, but you don’t advertise that you're using it. Be discreet. There’s no reason to tell the staff you have this. The point of having this is so you don’t have to ask or one.

The extender does not fit on all SW planes
On a Vegas flight out of Milwaukee WI, the belt worked great. On the return flight home from Las Vegas, NV, the same carrier, SouthWest must have had a newer plane and the belt did not work so I had to ask the flight attendant for one and she said that even though the belts say they fit all SW planes, they do not. I was embarrassed and now I know it will be a hit or miss thing on SW airlines.
