I learned something new about cleaning this pan when stubborn, stuck-on food won't wash off easily ... (as per the manufacturers) you can create a paste of baking soda and water to effectively remove tough sticky food debris (using a soft dishrag)

I give this a five star because of the great value for the low price of $19.99. I didn't notice from the Amazon picture, but this is a very SHALLOW pan, useful for things like eggs, French toast or pancakes. But it's a little too shallow for sauteeing or doing anything requiring a lot of stirring. But I wouldn't use a non-stick pan for sauteeing anyway because you need a little "stick" for onions and vegetables to brown. I have owned multiple cheap Teflon pans and T-Fal is by far the best. Everthing slides off. You can skip the oil, or use a spray using Misto oil pump (which I bought on Amazon recently). The pan arrived very slightly dented on one side. Just a cosmetic issue; no biggie for something so cheap. The handle is put on with only one screw. The handle already was loose out of the box but I tightened it with a screwdriver. I think they could have sprung for two screws, just as a safety issue for such a large pan. I wouldn't use this pan for large quantities or heavy items so the handle isn't a big issue either. Overally, a great buy for the price.

I was looking for a match to some older pans we had, which were T-Fal with the red logo on the bottom. Found out, these are the newer models! This is a great aluminum pan, and the handle bolts on somehow with a big phillips screw. This means no dimples/rivet heads in the pan! Only smooth, coated non-stick surface! I really enjoy the large 12 1/2" size too!The bottom is a shiny aluminum, with a circular pattern in it. Looks kind of like a vinyl record pattern. The outside walls are grey, and the inside coated with non-stick. Also, the picture here makes it look like a deep pan. I am not sure if they used a different size pan, or the image got squished, but the pan is a lot wider, and the sides are normal height in regards to the traditional saute pan.I sent for some matching, smaller pans too. They all work great, and match too! I have to admit, I never used aluminum pans before, but they are working out great! I am very happy with this item!

I discovered this pan while staying in a condo at the beach. Trust me the one there was well worn as you can imagine. I came home determined to get this brand and I have three now all three sizes and I love it. I saw a review of fry pans not long ago and T-Fal beat out all the rest. You will not be disapointed.

I Purchased this pan as a gift for my children for christmas. There are quite a few people in the house and they needed a larger pan mainly for breakfast. The kids love it! They are now able to make eggs for 12 people at a time which was the whole objective. My 12 year grandson loves it because he is usually the one who makes breakfast for everyone. The pan is easy to clean and not so expensive that the kids can't try their hand at cooking. I have had this pan for over a year and I love the easy clean up and large cooking area.

The pan I received was not 12.5" in diameter, and had two "pour lips" that are not on the pan in the photo for this size. It had a heavy bottom with grooves in it. And the bottom surface was smaller than expected. I successfully returned the pan, which (luckily) was fairly easy to do.I was trying to replace the T-Fal pan I have, which has a smooth flat bottom, no pour lips, and a wider bottom.
