When I got my mini goldendoodle I didn’t know how much grooming was involved. This brush is absolutely vital along with a comb. It works perfect by separating out the tight curls and allowing a comb through afterwards. I use this slicker brush every other day and it keeps my doodle mat free. 10/10

Easy to clean hair off brush with the push of a button

This is a great brush in many ways for my six month old standard poodle, Theo. First off, it is one of the easier brushes to hold and use. Unlike many brushes I’ve used it does not set off the dreaded pins and needles of carpal tunnel, at least for me. And the self cleaning feature is great! Oddly enough Theo does not seem to like this brush. He is not matted and I’m not sure why he is reacting to it so strongly. The bristles do not have balls on the end but they do not seem particularly harsh. My cat actually seems to enjoy this brush, even though it is too big for him. So bottom line, I think it is a good brush but recommend introducing it to your dog gradually.

Just received this slicker brush and have used it twice on my standard poodle, who had been run over by a UPS van 2 weeks ago and had to undergo a very serious abdominal operation to repair internal damage. Needless to say, he is very sore and has some road burn over both hind legs. So, the best test for our sweet Andy was to see if he would stand still while I brushed him. Which he did perfectly! I really enjoyed this brush, too, because it is so easy to hold (even with my arthritic hands and carpal tunnel) and a breeze to clean, plus it’s big enough to go over his entire body quickly. I plan to order a smaller one for his face, head, and legs. Definitely recommend this brush for standard poodles.

The teeth/bristles on the brush are sharp, almost to the point of discomfort. It does work well on poodle/bichon hair and is easy to clean.

We have a Pomeranian, a Corgi, and a long haired kitty. The brush worked well on all 3 of them. I especially like how easy it is to clean. I gave Easy to Hold a 4 simply because I have some arthritis in my hands and found it somewhat tiring to hold the button in for very long but overall, the brush is a great tool for removing loose pet hair.

The bristles are a little rough on my 18 year old cat. The brush does work well. Removes a lot of hair and seems to keep it in the brush until I can clean over the trash. I like it.

Ok, this brush is great! I cant believe how easy the fur comes off the brush as soon as the bristles retract!!! The brush pulls the loose fur out easily and then because it was a little windy the fur literally just blow off the brush! With an easy swipe of the hand the fur can be taken off the brush if you are inside! Yes...it's that easy. If you brush your dog and hate fighting to get all the fur out of the brush. ..this one's for you! The only thing my Mom found was the button was slightly hard to hold down because she has really bad arthritis in her hands. I had no problems at all...I liked the fact that I could control how far the bristles came out of the brush with the pressure I used on the button.

The brush works very well and does as expected. It's easy to clean and use. If your pet hasn't been brushed in a while, use a different brush first because the fine brissels pull knots and the animal will need some detangleing first.

A good brush and excellent simple design to remove fluff but my puppies don’t like it. I’m hopping they will get used to it as they get older and tougher they are only 4 months old. I’m using a softer brush till then as it’s a bit sharp.
