Love this bedding. Only bedding I use for my small animals

I have been buying this exact paper litter in this exact color for about 2 years now. It’s been fine for my 2 buns. I put a layer over their pine pellets and it helps to absorb urine and protects their feet from urine stains.

This is just your basic small animal bedding mix, and it's perfect for the cage. Very low dust production, super absorbent, and easy to use. We like the sea glass colors, but they offer a wide variety. And when you use the subscribe and save feature it's not only cheaper but much easier to make sure you don't run out when you need it most. Even without the subscribe and save, this is much cheaper than the local pet store and we don't have to drive anywhere to get it.

I have used Carefresh bedding for years for my daughter's hamsters because it was always considered the best from the research I did for small pet care. We've never had a problem with quality or consistency until the last 3 subscribe & save deliveries (from Petco via Amazon). We received a bag that was filled with large, fist-sized clumps of what looked like dryer lint mixed in with the bedding, and very dusty throughout; I thought it must be a fluke, a manufacturing error or made on equipment that was overdue for cleaning. The next bag was comprised of large, very rough and stiff, brightly colored chunks -- not as soft as usual, but still usable for our needs. The newest bag I opened yesterday is all tiny little bits of fluff, almost too small to be considered bedding, the colors all washed-out, and again very dusty. It looks nothing like the previous bags. I have no idea what is going on. It's like getting a new product every time now, and not one I would recommend. I'll try one more bag and then I'm either switching brands or going back to buying it in the store where I can see in advance what I am paying for.

Love this brand of bedding! So does my bunny! Love the colors of this one. The sea glass. Soft and pretty!!
