Good product
Good solid product - don't understand why the price is so high for galvanized bent steel.

Very well made
Perfect for my deck post , mine was 8" round instead 8 x 8 , so @ the base , I cut 1.5" slots in 4 corners & hammered it to wrap the base of my 8" pier post & used lags screws.

Would buy again. I wish it's little bit cheaper 😔
Couldn't find it in any local stores. Got stuck on the project but I got it here and it is all good now. Its solid piece of steel and I like it.

Nice stable base
Nice stable base, its what you think you're buying... the only thing is that its a bit tight. I wish the width was an 1/8" wider, at least for the 8x8 columns that I used

It works as well as any such post anchor. ...
It works as well as any such post anchor. The only complaint is the price tag. It is an awful lot of $$$$ for some galvanized steel bent up strategically. 5 stars if I felt the price was reasonable... in my opinion anyway. It has provisions for final positioning, and keeps the timber up and above the concrete surface so moisture doesn't wick up into the end grain. Also, as expected, it fits FINISHED CUT 8x8s. Not rough sawed. A rough sawed timber is a true 8 inches by 8 inches. This is about 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". Just to clarify for those who are beginners.

Avoid the post rot with these
Worked great for installing under cedar post so the water doesn't rot the wood.
