I love my with the 40W Lazer but I want to be able to burn photos

This is a great upgrade to their 20 watt laser head unit. I did a few test cuts of other projects I had run previously with the 20watt laser. The 40 watt cut most times almost in half with exact same quality. Some things were even faster as I was able to max out the speed and engrave at a higher %.I was able to have this machine set up in less than 30 minutes. A few recommendations would be adjustable or taller legs to accommodate thicker items or if you get the rotary roller, air assist for cutting through wood and some sort of enclosure with exhaust fan as the machine puts off a lot of smoke when cutting through wood.I completely recommend all the fox alien products as they have great support groups!

We have made many projects with this laser no issues so far.Great value, not enclosed so we have had issues with fumes, get an enclosure or a fan to pull the fumes outside.

Had this machine for a year or so and had no issues whatsoever. I would eventually upgrade to a 80w laser but the 40 watt it comes with is super strong and definitely depenable. Will highly recommend this machine.

I have had good success with Foxalien products and again this machine does not miss. The machine itself is basically the Reizer frame and controller but includes the much more powerful laser module.The assembly is quick and easy. They have streamlined and detailed most steps very well in the manual with it. If you are taking your time and going slow expect about an hour of assembly, maybe slightly more. I have used one or two other machines so the assembly was quicker for me and only took about 25 - 30 minutes.Once assembled instructions give you a basic starting point. It does come with free software with it to get you going but honestly I would highly recommend upgrading the software for about another $60.Machine comes with the adjustable Z axis which is a nice tough, easy to focus. Mine had a set focal length for easy focusing and included a little silver cylinder to help me perfectly line up what the best focal length is.Overall I am super happy with my machine, just a few issues wish they would fix. One was with the stock feet / legs that come with it it limits your work piece. It'll still be fine for most objects but if you have a bulky item or try to use a honeycomb laser bed it gets a little tight one space. Also although I havent had any issues with it the power cord moves with your control board on the Y axis, So just make sure your power cable isn't over stretched or snagged or your project could some to a grinding halt midway through. Otherwise its a great machine especially for the price point.

I've been using this laser for a few months now, and it's more than paid for itself by doing little projects for friends and family. Cuts through 1/4" ply at a speed I'd call fast for a diode laser, and is priced well. This is good for entry-level, as well as small business production.Fox Alien customer service gets a 10/10 as well. I had a minor issue with the laser itself and they sent me a brand new unit free of charge right away, no need to send anything back, so I was offline for very little time.
