Boy, did we debate and research to death the benefits of hard and soft crates for our needs! We have a 23 lb Havanese and he is very accustomed to crating, now only in the car, as that he’s completely housebroken. And he loves his crate. But it was too small so we finally opted for this soft crate. Worth every penny! Lightweight and easy to assemble, we keep it up in the car. After a slight learning curve he loves it too. Very roomy, with an adequate cushion that’s washable. Excellent viewing from most angles for him, although back has no window. Very easy to put him in and out. Study & well made. All screens zip open and have sturdy metal double zippers.

I purchased 3 of these! My dog used this as his little hideaway. I traveled across country with a small pup and this was so easy to carry and unfold. Great for a dog or cat:) Its like the home that goes with them. It fits in the back seat of a car. The fabric is strong and very airy.

I had to return for size but it was very well made and so easy to take with.

Before ordering, I had some concerns about what the quality of these crates would be like… but upon receiving them, my concerns were alleviated. These are really pretty darn nice! Super lightweight and easy to put together. Very nice for traveling. I’m very pleased. There were some other crates that looked a little sturdier, and appeared to be a better quality, but they were higher priced, and they were also out of stock in the sizes that I needed… So I got these. These suit my needs just fine.

These fit perfectly in the back of my 2019 Chevy Traverse, it's a tight fit (for two crates), but they will not topple over when both are in. If you have just 1 in the back of your car and a bigger dog, take caution as they are very light and can topple over if the pup is not used to laying down and being still. But over all, we are very pleased with the purchase.

This is my initial reaction. I will update if it changes in a few weeks.As a bit more of information I have one small dog! He is almost 9lbs and has never been the destructive kind. Not even when inside a crate or carrier.This is actually why I figured a soft crate was a good option for us.If your dog is large, destructive, or related to Roudini, you may need to consider a regular metal crate.So first impressions...as soon as I picked up the box outside I was like WOAH! Nice and light! It will make my life sooo much easier because just moving thevlarge metal crate around my apartment was a pain in the petunia.The crate/carrier is beautiful. It seems sturdy enough for my dog! It was extremely easy and fast to assemble! Have t taken it down just yet!It’s a very nice medium size.Very pleased so far!It has 3 zipped openings which is great imo! I’m planning on leaving it under my desk (where he likes to hide) for a cozy safe place, so the side opening is just perfect!I missed the info that it comes with a little mat.It’s thin but very soft.It’s beige tho which oh boy! Lol doesn’t match with the grey and blue details of the crate hahaha but not complaining. LolI ended up buying an American kennel club grey crate bed anyways so we are good in the matching department.We are traveling this weekend with it so it will be nice to not have to drag around a super heavy crate!!!

Hardly chew proof! Our 3 month old golden retriever puppy ruined the zipper in under 5 minutes during the first use with just a few chews. She is crate trained and does not dig or scratch, but chewed on the flap while it was unzipped, rendering the crate completely useless as it will now not zip closed. I guess I thought a travel crate would be a little sturdier… On the plus side, it went together very easily and came with a nice bed. Just don’t turn your back or leave the flaps down if you have a chewer!

Sturdy built and easy pop up and to fold away. Light weight, maybe 7 lbs for extra large size. Convenient handle to carry. My dog is Retriever X, Xtra large would be too small for Rottweiler or Mastiff breed. My dog just fits standing up. Sleeping mat is soft and comfortable, made of durable material. I give this portable dog crate two thumbs up. Just check sizing carefully.

At first we were really pleased with this, easy to fold, perfect size for our car but it only lasted 4 minutes before our puppy chewed this hole in it. She also managed to rip the zip out. I looked in my rear view mirror and there she was sitting on top of this crate looking out the window. We have since bought a metal one.

The media could not be loaded.  Great product; sturdy quality and the fabric & poles fold up nicely. My kitten was entertaining herself in the crate within minutes. I bought a larger size to give her extra space but this could easily fit two cats. Highly recommend.

This crate has been a life saver for us - we take it with us everywhere, car, office, visiting friends. It's easy to assemble, mesh on 3 sides are great and the 3 other sides provide privacy. the only downside is not to have a long handle to carry the crate in one hand while assembled - the two handles are short and far apart. I used a shoulder strap from an old back to connect the handles so I can now carry the crate in one hand and still have a spare hand for other stuff :)
