Not what it's made out
Sorry to say it bit please DONT RUSH OUT & BUY THIS, compari g it to the previous version of batman it doesn't hold any grounds..... there's very little action, very little drama, very little anythingBatmobile you see once as per clips in the car chase, nothing more except some static shots etc.Bat bike, "kinda" you see at the end & nothing moreFight scenes literally 2-3 pretty quick & nothing special, even the end sequence isn't special & is over before you've blinked an eye...Sorry to say it, I'd say ppl should wait until the price is massively reduced or the films released on national TV ie free to watch. All the reviews etc make out it's something new & exciting etc yes its new but it's lacking literally in everything we all love, want to see.... in part "as a whole" this could easily be compared to a low budget detective film, however the low budget compared film would win as there's more detective working going on..My only hope is, if there's a 2nd the director, writer etc produce a real batman film rather then this shocking example of "I really don't know what"Also if this is supposed to be a batman, from the grass routes beginning why does he have a very large storage facility, a pretty advanced jet powered vehicle & other none low tech, basic equipment "even if rich etc" batman is supposed to have manufactured this himself with Alfred etc... it seems contradictory itself... however batman begins you see & are made aware of how, what etc he goes around making, producing/obtaining these items..The only aspect I really enjoyed was the cinema photography & capturing all of the bats events are during the night, unlike the precious revamp batman where it failed by having batman exposed in broad daylight.Ps yes I fell asleep before the film finished & I began watching the film around 21:30 at nightI'll add more as it comes to me, maybe after a 2nd viewing.. yes its that good I've watched it once & once only.

it's boring
You could spend some time analysing why this film doesn't work, but if you've just lost two and a half hours of your life and £9.99 watching it, you'll know it's just boring. Probably one of the most disappointing films ever made. It simply fails to take off.

It's the TWILIGHT BOY.
is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, 6th & Idaho, and Dylan Clark Productions, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is a reboot of the Batman film franchise. The film was directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig. It stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman alongside Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The film sees Batman, who has been fighting crime in Gotham City for two years, uncover corruption while pursuing the Riddler (Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite.A dark film noir set with our favourite caped crusader played by our sparkly Twilight boy, Robert Pattinson who has successfully built a acting career with a lot of indie hits and knocks out the Batman role in a well crafted gothic film noir set in Batman early years and brings in the detective aspects of the character with a gritty mob boss plot with the insane Riddler blowing the lid of Gotham hidden lies.It is about 30 mins to long and could have let a few scenes go but you won't be disappointed in a astonishing film which captures the true essence of Gotham Greatest Detective.Sequel please.

A breath of Dark/dangerous air!
I'm more into MCU then DCEU, but I do LOVE this movie. It's raw, dark, gritty, oppressive and is more about Batman than his gadgets. This is Vengeance, plain and simple. If you watched the Bond movies of Daniel Craig and appreciated the light it shone on the dangerous psychopathy of 007, then you will have an idea of how this incarnation on Bruce Wayne differs from the past versions.I didn't think this movie could match or even come close to the Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale trilogy, but it does and it surpasses it with ease.I'm eager to see the next two films with Robert Pattinson to the same degree I await the next chapter of the MCU, and that is something I've never said about DCEU films before. Well maybe once before; Zack Snyder's Justice League. For goodness sake, make the sequels! As my wife says of all superhero movies, it's bloody obvious who they really are behind the masks. For the first time ever, she said, and I agree, it's not at all obvious that Robert Pattinson/Bruce Wayne is the person behind the famous Bat cowl. I could well imagine meeting both Bruce and Batman and not guessing they are one and the same.P. S. Did anyone else think that The Riddler resembles Bill Gates?
