Didn’t work
We added ice and water every night. We have a small room and it still didn’t cool it down. Very sad about the purchase. We were excited to get one so well rated, but it’s not worth it.

Perfect for personal use
Whether you’re going to bed or just working at home this cooler will meet your cooling needs. Be aware this will not cool an entire room only the direction in which it faces. Would give 6 stars if possible.

Effective enough
I bought this for my RV for the summer and it works pretty well and it’s great for the money. I wish it ran constantly without filling the water that is the only down fall. You have to fill it with water and ice packs to get it really cold. But other than that it does work well

Feels like a fan
I purchased this the first week in September to help cool our living room during 90 something degree weather. We don't have central a/c and don't have a place to vent a portable a/c unit. We currently have two Lasko fans in our living room that help a lot but as the temperature rose we needed something more.It was very easy to remove the item from the package and set it up. The evaporative air cooler was placed on low pile carpet near one of the fans. It is fairly easy to pull out the small water tank to refill it or replace the ice packs or add ice. The air was a little bit cooler than the air from the fan. In 90+ degree weather, it was necessary to frequently replace the cold pack or add ice. I put it next to one of our fans to help move the cool air further into the room. I would have to say that it did help to cool us but I don't really feel like it's worth the price. I would like to return it because I don't really feel like it is worth the price for what it does.Pros: -Doesn't take up a lot of space. -The water tank is easy to access and open, even on low pile carpet. -The air does feel cool when the tank contains cold water with ice or ice packs. -It is quiet. -Decent air flow on High setting.Cons: -The water tank is small. -I have to constantly add ice or replace the cold pack in order to feel cool/cold air, approximately every 30-45 minutes in hot weather-The ice packs don't stay frozen for very long.-Expensive for what it does.Sorry I don't have more information. I hope this helps.

Not good as a mock ac
Works good as a fan but it did not work at all as an air conditioner in my son basement room. Temp when we turned it on was 77 and after 6 hrs of use only went down to 75. We used the ice packs and cold water

Beware of Water Mess
I loved this fan at first, the air blown towards me seemed to be much cooler and I was sleeping better. Then it started, water leaks out the back instead of staying in the machine, it's all over my floor!! Not a fun mess to clean up in the middle of the night!!!Can not seem to find a way to contact seller about the issue! Very disappointed to say the least.

LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!
My air conditioner kept flipping the breaker because it’s been in the 100’s. The cool air from this fan keeps my ac running longer. It takes it longer to cool a room when you start from a high temperature, but if you start in a coolish room it makes a huge difference. Before this fan my living room temperature was 95 degrees. With this fan my living room is 80, which goes down when the sun goes down. I wish I knew where to buy more of their ice packs. The key to getting cold air is cold water and to get any cool air it must have water AT ALL TIMES. Otherwise it’s an awesome fan.

Defective upon arrival
The media could not be loaded. I liked the design, but this one was defective. Followed all directions. Tried it out as a Fan without the Evaporative Cooler option first. Then added the water and frozen ice crystal containers.Turned on the power, Turned on the Cooler mode. Fan started blowing. After a few minutes it began changing speeds on and off repeatedly. Then all of the power lights turned off, but it still keeps cycling on and off. So, I can't tell you if this one actually cools or not. Will see if I have better luck on the next one.
