My mower had a serious loss of self propelled power. The front wheels tred was almost gone and it just didn't pull, causing unnecessary fatigue. These new wheels were an exact match in every way, size, tred, and even look. Removal was super easy with only one socket needed. As you can see from the photos, the inside of the old wheels showed signs of severe wear, with many of the teeth worn on one wheel, and almost completely gone on the other The swap took less than 15 minutes and the improvement was night and day. Tip, before ordering, remove one of your wheels to see if you have the same issues with worn teeth, and also to inspect the metal gear for wear. This way you can also order replacement gears if necessary and swamp everything out at the same time.

My husband told me that we needed a new lawnmower but we had just bought this newish one off of his friend last year so I asked why. He said the wheels weren't working properly and that 'there are some other reasons too'....I decided trying new wheels was better than buying a new mower. I'm so glad I did, the old ones were a beast to take off as the teeth were nawed down to nothing which is why they wouldn't turn (the previous owner's wife was horrible on any kind of equipment) but one he put the new wheels on he said the mower ran like brand new! Saved me about $300!

Great wheels and thenwork great! Lawnmower moves like new! My lawnmower is a Craftsman 917.376161 model from 2006 and this was the first time I replaced the front wheels. The new wheels are great! I would note that some people may have an issue with the old wheels like I did. The old wheels apparantly detached from the inner steel cylinder that was part of the wheel assembly and it fused to the axle rod that the new wheel slides onto. It took a bit of elbow grease to get the old one off,.... but it did come off. Just FYI in case anyone else has this issue.

I wish I had bought replacement tires for my mower years ago!! I did not realize how much of the tread had worn off. These tires fit my mower perfectly and the price was the best one I saw on Amazon.

Needed new front tires for my lawn mower, which is a "Black Max" brand I bought from Sam's. Because the lawn mower is piece-parted, they don't tell you where they get the tires from. After reviewing on Amazon I found a number that was similar and ordered them. They look and fit exactly like the original ones.

Just purchased and installed these wheels. The center is slightly thicker and doesn’t allow for same connection to axle. Current locknut could not be used. Regular nut with thin was her worked fine for now.

Taking the old wheels off were a bit of a challenge, but spraying some WD-40 and waiting a few minutes did the trick. The left front wheel wasn't pulling at all and the right one had no tread. I went ahead and replaced both wheels and regained traction in both tires.

So far they are great.
