L'Oreal ParisHydrafresh Toner 8.5 oz (Pack of 3)

I like this product but sometimes the drug stores don't have it in stock, so I started purchasing it on line.

The product on the left is what I thought I was ordering. What I got was the product on the right. This is L’Oeal’s replacement and it is NOT the same. The new formula has a very strong smell and has an ingredient that dries my skin. If you notice the tag line for the product went from “Refreshes in a Splash” to “Gently Cleanse and Refresh in a Splash.” It is the “cleanse” part that had completely changed this product from something I used religiously every day for years to something I would not recommend to anyone who doesn’t like any kind of astringent or cleansing ingredient in their toner. I’ve not been able to find something equivalent to the original formula. Very disappointed.I don’t blame the seller for L’Oreal discontinuing the product but update your product listing. The product you have shown here is not what you are sending out. I will be returning my order.

I love this product--IF it's the correct product. L'Oreal also puts out a Hydrafresh Toner that is CLEANSER & toner. The cleanser literally burns my skin. I tried to order just the toner from the seller, but was sent the cleanser/toner instead. Not sure if L'Oreal has discontinued just the toner. That's why I give it the lower rating.

L’Oreal must have changed the formula. I’ve been using this brand for years now. The new packaging I could deal with. They took the pink coloring out of the toner and put in on the new square bottle. The fragrance in this toner is horrible. I admit I have a sensitive nose but, come on. No one wants to put that fragrance on their face twice a day. I am disposing of the six bottles I have in reserve. I’ve found a new odorless toner on Amazon I’m going to try.

I have not used but is used by my mother who swears by it.
