You can play with these matchsticks
I didn't get this game from Amazon but it is a popular game with my friends and family and VERY hard to find in stores, so if you want to have some fun, add this to your game collection. My family does game marathons totally unplugged, except for me taking pictures and videos. This game is so easy to learn and play and it's the kind of game that you can teach while you play. I took the game to my office and 3 of us played it during our lunch hour and when I realized how much my coworkers loved it, I went back to the store a few days later to get them a set and the game was sold out! We have been looking for this game now for about 3 years and I just found it here today because no one really knows what the name of the game is when looking for it. My family calls it the Matchsticks game. There are 6 different colors and the object of the game is to complete sets by collecting the colored sticks. During your turn you play a card that has a stick with the colored tip matching the colored tip that you are connecting. Then you get that colored stick. So, let's say I play a card with a blue colored tip, I have made a blue stick, so I earn a blue stick. The more cards that are played, the more challenging it gets because IF your card touches more than one card, all colored tips must match the colored tips to every card that you have touched. So for example, you place a card in between 2 cards...one card has a red tip and one has a green tip, so your card must have that red tip and green tip. THEN you get to collect a colored stick for EVERY colored tip you matched so in this case you would get a red and green stick. Now here is where some strategy comes into play. IF you have played and collected MORE THAN one tip/stick, you have the option of trading sticks with other players. You can trade as many as you want BUT you have to keep AT LEAST ONE stick from the current draw. So for example, let's say you are really good and you are able to place a card in the center (hole) of a formation that allows you to connect 4 tips on all 4 sides of the card you're playing. You collect 2 greens, a red and a yellow. Remember, the goal is try to complete as many sets with one stick of each color. So you have drawn 4 sticks...you can EITHER keep all 4 and continue building sets OR you can swap 1, 2 or 3 of the current sticks that you just collected because remember, you MUST keep AT LEAST ONE stick from current draw. So, you might sabotage another player. Jane Doe has a complete set and you want to reduce her possible points, so you take sticks from some of her completed sets (yes, you can swap from a player's completed set), OR you see that John Doe has a set that is almost complete, so you swap with him to prevent him from completing a set.You continue playing cards and collecting sticks until EITHER all cards are played OR someone wants to play a card that no longer has a colored stick available. Ex. Jane Doe wants to play a card that would require her to draw a red and beige stick but there are no red sticks available.Once the game ends you tally up the value of completed sets...Set of 6 sticks (21 pts), 5 sticks (15 pts), 4 sticks (10 pts), 3 sticks (6 pts), 2 sticks (3 pts) and 1 solo stick (1 pt). The person with the most points is the winner. Our variation to extend game play: When we have run out of a certain colored stick, we tell everyone, "Don't play any colored tips with red..." That way we keep building and collecting. And the teach as you play method is real easy...if someone appears to be stuck and can't seem to find a place on the "board" (layout) to place a card, you can (without looking at their cards), tell them that there are spaces on the board for (fill in the blank with a color). I will say, "There's openings for red, green, blue..." ALL the cards have to connect in the same direction BUT each card has 4 colored tips on it so sometimes you just need to encourage the players to rotate the cards in their hands so that they see the colored tips from a different view. We have played it with children as young as 7 and my Daddy is 82 and loves it, so it's truly a game for everyone.I have set up a game play with labels to let you see how the cards can be played, connected and how you can place to collect 1, 2, 3 and even the almost impossible 4-stick formation. The 4-stick formation is the result of there being a "hole" in the layout and someone having the ability to place a card that properly connects all 4 colored tips. We have been playing this game for several years and have only seen this done once BUT we have been able to get the 3-stick formations on a regular basis. And please note...because the outer cards always have 1 or 2 available tips, the options are sometimes endless and the game layout can expand in all directions and get pretty big. We have played on the floor or a large dining room table. We even played at a state park one time in a pavilion area and had some hikers that were taking a break join us, that's how fun and easy this game is!The unlabeled pictures are one of our actual game plays. Buy this game and you will have no regrets, no burns or fires!

Tremendamente adictivo
