Great on fish
These shears work great for removing collars from grouper and large red snapper. They are larger than my wife’s kitchen shears, which means they provide a lot more leverage for cutting through cartilage or bone.

These shears made short work of these chicken wings. Sharp and comfortable to use. Highly recommend and easy to clean.

Do NOT buy. They rust.
The media could not be loaded. I had the highest hopes for these poultry shears, seeing as how they were made by a supposedly good company. It's not quite clear if they're from japan, or china. Looks like it's a Japanese company that's operating in China? Which doesn't make any sense to me at all.Ha! Now it all makes sense, since after just one use the shears began to rust. I scrubbed with a pretty bristly brush, and Then followed up with a scour pad, but the rust will not come off.They are pretty heavy, weighing in at around 14 oz. Overall length was around 10 in. But they do rust! Buyer beware. I wouldn't buy these again.
