I'm submitting this review on the 2nd chair i received. The first arrived damaged. Interesting to me was that both chairs were packed differently within thier boxes. The damaged one had the side pieces at the top, but the replacement chair had the seat as the first thing you see when opening the box. You can easily hand tighten all of the bolts to almost set. Remember to not tighten down any of the bolts until all are in and the chair is upright after assembly. Sit in it for a few days, then revist the bolts, just to snug them up. Comes with a small sanding block in case of any rough edges, mine only had a few very minor ones on the outside of the arms - a light pass along the edge with the sanding block fixed that up no problem.

One of the bottom chair rails wouldn’t accept the bolt. The male thread will not screw into the female thread. This is a horrible discovery to have during assembly. You would think the chairs would be assembled BEFORE shipment to make sure ALL bolts fasten without ANY issue. SMHUpdate: The company immediately contacted me and offered to send the replacement part and made a generous offer to make things right which is very rare in today’s marketplace. They went above the call of duty to make things right. For that…I recommended the chairs to my neighbor who’s in the marketplace for porch rockers despite the experience that I had during assembly.

These chairs are so sturdy. Super easy to assemble. I made a mistake putting them together (not paying enough attention) and had to redo them. Even with that, the whole thing was less than 30mins total for both chairs. I had them outside in the winter and summer and they are fine. I just have to wipe them off. I am a large person and feel secure. I recommend.

I really like this chair! It's even better than I thought it would be. It's very sturdy, comfortable without a cushion, has a nice tall back and rocks well. It wasn't really hard to put together by myself except that it was a little awkward with the hex wrench. Everything fit nicely, it was just hard turning and turning and turning that little tool! But once put together, the chair is very nice. I will say when I was assembling it, it looked like the seat was going to be way too low to the ground but once finished, it's actually just right. It looks like real wood! I'm very happy.

Having built several rockers of this type, this is the very easiest to built, and best sturdy materials I have found. The also sit at a much more comfortable angle than most. I am tall ( 6'+) and have a terrible back, and this is the first rocker of this kind I have found to be comfortable for long hours of reading on the porch. We ordered two and are ordering three more. Don't hesitate to buy this very high quality rocker.

This rocking chair is great!! However whish the bolts had a Philips head or and actual hex bolt. The head is an Allen wrench type and one of them rounded out assembling, eventually I will have to drill it out one day and replace it. This is not the manufacturers fault just the cheap bolts and screws we get these days from China they don't meet the brown and sharp hardening specs. I recommend using some locktite or thread tape on the treads so they won't work out over time

I got these for my birthday. They're good quality and my son in law put them together in about 45 minutes! Look great on my porch.

These chairs were our winning porch purchase from 2023. Super easy to assemble, large and sturdy. They looks so much nicer than I expected. We are ordering more.
