I recently purchased the Folding Drawer Cat Basin in white, and overall, it has been a fantastic addition to my home. This is a great cat litter box. My cats are beginning to use it. Unfortunately, at first they would not use it because they were unfamiliar with the doorway. I ended up having to tape the swinging door up and open so that the cats would go inside and use it. But I also kept a more conventional litter box next to the Rizzari litter box.I like this item. It was a little tricky to assemble the walls but once I figured it out it went easily, recently it was time to clean it out. There area a lot of nooks and crannies that collected what should have been in the tray which was quite gross. But, other than a silly kitten throwing the litter out to play, it does an excellent job containing the smell and mess, we did not put the flap door on as we did not want any barriers to the cats using it.

This appealed to me for a shared bathroom so others did not have to see the cat litter. It was relatively simple to assemble and appeared to be of good quality at first. With use, there were the following problems: 1) if the drawer contains more than 2 inches of litter or if your cat scratches the litter into a pile at one end, it is hard to open the drawer without spilling litter inside the unit. 2) cats tend to pee at the edges of a litter box. Because this one requires shallow litter, they end up peeing up the side of the pan and frame causing more odor than usual. 3) because of this I had to partially disassemble the unit every time I wanted to clean it -- a lot of trouble. 4) if the litter spills out of the drawer it prevents the drawer from completely closing. Even if the drawer is not open but the edge protrudes 1/4 inch litter scatters everywhere with use. I have a fluffy cat who has dry litter cling to her fur after litter use. As best I can tell, the top opening actually does a WORSE job of helping her clean off the litter when she exists compared to a standard open top box. I tried for almost 3 weeks then decided it was not worth the money and returned it. Very disappointed. If you have one cat it might work okay. For more than that, I don't recommend it.

Edit: leave it to my cat to be annoying lol..the sealing strips that go on the inside, are pointless if you have a rambunctious orange cat! He purposely pulls them out and they become an issue. I have removed them. Works decently without them. Definitely need a better design.This was well worth the money! The material is lovely and sturdy. It was easy to put together, much bigger than my other one, and my cat immediately used it without being cramped. The drawer on the bottom isn't loose at all and easily stays in place. The sides lock together easily and to the base. The top can be removed for cleaning and the drawer makes it easy to scoop. I recommend this for anyone with a bigger cat or multiple cats.

Supposed to come with 2 leak proof strips... these were not included in the package. Other than that the product seams okay but missing parts.
