Great for the hitching rail
Was tired of my colts getting their ropes wrapped around the side of the hitching rail so put one of these on each side to cross tie. Yep, they work perfect and they break away in such a way it doesn't terrify them. We just lead them forward and Velcro them back in. They do lose their spring pretty quick with a hard sitter but that doesn't keep them from working just fine.

Love the Colour, Very Useful, Just a Smidge Too Short
I really loved that these came with velcro pieces to help elongate these breakaway trailer ties... The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I feel they are a fraction too short for use in my Warmblood sized horse trailer. I use some twine on the hooks to attach these to, then attach to my horses from there. Overall, really like them. Just disapointed at having to use twine still.

Very unsafe style
Super unsafe. A friedns horse lost an eye when he pulled back and it broke.Not this specifically but this style, I know its happened a bunch and this wasn't an isolated incident.

Really poor quality! The ones shires made previously were much better. I've only used this a few times and it has already stretched!
