These I'd recommend to anyone that has to wear compress for poor circulation and edema.
These were delivered as promised. Put them on and right away I knew these weren't like all the other compression socks I have worn for the last 7 years. These are graduated compression. Easy to put on and the top of them don't cut into my skin they feel great on, nice and smooth. For the first time I can put my socks on over them and my tennis shoes on without the socks bunching up. I couldn't tell I had these on with my tennis shoes. They feel great all day long and they don't leave impressions on my legs. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that has to wear compression. I'll be buying more for me and for my brother and for my dad.

Lin Compression Socks are the best affordable compression socks for varicose veins
Lin Performance 20-30 mmHg socks are probably the best buy for proper graduated compression. Color selection is limited but you have the two choices of a "natural skin" color and black, after all, they're not for fun. It is really hard to find "affordable" properly graduated compression socks. I am still new at this but I can feel that they are tighter at the ankle and get less tight up at the top just below my knees. And there is NO buldging seam over the toes, it runs at the front tip where there is no pressure. AND they are not difficult to put on or pull off. I also use another less expensive with more color choices brand to fill in with but the Lin Performance are the best. My ankles and calves are on the small size, I'm 5'5" and weigh just under 115 lbs, so I'm not "big" and the small size fits me just fine.

Good compression
Great compression. The toes roll up a little bit, but it doesn’t bother me. My legs definitely feel less heavy when I wear them.

Strength is good but curls under at toes
Compression strength is great. Material starts to curl up at the foot end after 1 wear/wash

Sheer compression socks
These are my favorite knee high compression socks. They are sheerer than most compression socks yet provide the desired level of compression. Although on the sheer side, these compression socks did not run easily and I did not put holes in them while donning and doffing them. They were comfortable and came in open and closed toe options, and choices of black and nude.

Size small works well for 12 1/2 inch calf diameter
The diameter of my calf is 11 1/2 inches and the size small fits well. The first time I put them on I thought no way am I going to be wanting to do this every day but after a few times you figure out the best way to proceed and it gets easier. Removing them is harder than putting them on in my opinion. The very first pair of compression socks that I tried had the full foot style and the compression level was 15 to 20. The foot was too long and I did not feel like the compression was enough to make any difference. So I tried these open toe socks with the next level up for compression and I'm very pleased with them. I don't have any specific problems but I am 72 and feel like anything that helps with circulation is a good idea.

Quality stockings at a resonable price, but made more for men than women.
I liked the quality of these stockings. At first I bought the 2XL and they were too tight. Next, I bought the 3XXL and they fit my leg comfortably but were too long and the foot was too wide. The stocking came up to mid-knee which doesn't work, they just roll down and then cut in. The foot was too big which made it bunch up when putting my shoes on. Unfortunately, manufacturers are making unisex stockings - fine for men (I assume) but not for women. I've been in compression stockings for many years and paid a lot for them until I found them on Amazon at a more reasonable cost. I've had some successful purchases but these unisex stockings just don't work for me. I've tried a few of them and plus-size stockings but can't seem to get a good fit. According to the size charts I'm supposed to be a 2XL but they fit like a 30-40 compression and the top band cuts in. Unless I find the answer to my dilemma I'll have to go back to the expensive stockings.
