TORRAS COOLIFY 2 Neck Cooler, Strong Wind Personal Neck Fan - 3-Speed, Rechargeable

Bought this as a reaction to a trip to a murderously hot Italy last month. Needless to say the moment it arrived the temperature dropped like a stone. No matter, once charged it can pump cold air at 3 speeds around the neck and the side of the head area. It instantly stops your head exploding in the heat. Well, at least it makes it much more bearable than running around without it. It also blows uncooled air and when needed it can do warm air. Not bad for a little neck "brace" that charges very quickly indeed. Operation is rather discreet without generating too much ambient noise. It comes in a box which is kind of an egg shape and rather large. In order not to take up all the suitcase space it has a hook attached to hang it on the outside of a bag. I don't use the box because the unit fits in the carry on. Very happy with my purchase even though the next model up has a remote control via phone app which would have been infinitely more convenient than fiddling with a button on the side of the unit. When I bought mine the next model up was not available on Amazon. If in need of instant cooling I'd say get one before they're gone.

This neck fan does work well. If cools you down enough and lasts a long time on fan mode. Cool mode is great but does not last more than a couple of hours on this mode at most.Is it worth the money?Well it’s built to a high quality and works great. Probably not with £150 but still is a great product.

Working in the Middle East this is was a no brainer!HONESTLY- can’t recommend enough after wearing all day.Yes it’s really air-con and not just a fan and yes the heat works, it’s hot!Can’t recommend enough!!Only one improvement is battery life, get about 3 hour recently full cooling mode.Please make item work whilst charging e.g: on power bank whilst in use.No other issues does what it say on the tin!

The reasons I returned my for a Refund:- Weight - This thing is very heavy at least 3 times heavier than any other neck fan I have owned- Pressure - This clamps very tightly onto the sides of your neck very uncomforable to wear for 5 minutes let alone several hours- Size - Because of the weight of the item, it would break very easily out of its protective case and the case is gigantic making this not very portable.- Cost - I have bought about 20 different brands of neck fan on Amazon, all of them have broken in 3 to 4 weeks of light usage, so I bought this hoping it would last but at 5 x the price of "premium neckbands" and 10 x the price of "budget" neckbands its very pricey.Honestly if they had made the weight something reasonable and made it not clamp so hard onto my neck I probably would of kept it as I am running out of brands that sell them. They all seem to be 1st generation products from hong kong with very cheap components which cant seem to last more than a few weeks of daily usage.Here are the good bits (to be fair)- The plates that touch the side of your neck do cool you down pretty quick but within a few minutes your neck gets used to the temp and they dont feel cold anymore.- The fans are actually very good, one of the best of the neckbands I have tried so far.- The heating does work, but as its just plates and not a heated fan its a bit limited.OverallIts asking too much for too little, compared to other neckbands its not really offering enough to justify its markup. I would actually of preferred a model from them without the cooling plates and just the fans, would reduce the weight and could reduce the need to clasp to the sides of my neck.

The Coolify2 is a good idea but in practice doesn't quite come up to expectations.In order to have any real effect you need to have it on either C2 or C3, which lowers battery life considerably.From the advertised maximum time down to 1 or 2 hrours.But on C2 or C3 the fan noise is too loud. Also it feels more like it is blowing around the face rather than on the face. Imagine a water fall flowing inches away rather than on your face.The heat function I hope will be worth it in the winter.Personally I would like to see a redesigned version, that can be used as a headband rather than a neck band. That would cool the forehead (like a damp flannel) and blow air downwards, onto the skin, rather than upwards and away from the skin.If you can give one a try I'd recommend it, but your expectations may get you got under the collar.

Bought this for my trip to Orlando Florida, going in a week so not tested how long the battery lasts yet.Love the case, tried it on and feels very comfortable not to heavy and bulky like the cheaper ones.Not too noisy, but obviously it gets a little louder the faster it goes.Would recommend this product:)

Comfortable and worked well to cool me down during the heatwave this summer. Though battery life isn’t great and charging takes a while. Also a very niche product in terms of when you’d use it in the UK. I love my gadget and have the money to spare, but massive overkill for most. That said, having tried this with just the fans on, I can’t see how those cheaper versions that are just fans, are in anyway useful at all.

Cold plates work well, but fan air direction in hot weather is poor and the direction of the air is very limited and only reaches the lower part of your face, I bought this to travel to a hot country but after testing it in the heat wave in england, it just cannot handle temperatures above 30 perhaps. I dont think its worth the price and was expecting the fan air to travel on most of my face, but literally only hits the lower part of your neck area, although Amazon service is good and they have agreed a return.
