The hairpins didn't suit me. I even returned them. They didn't suit me because my hair is not thick enough. Take them if you have really, really thick hair. and long enough. With very thin hair I found these impossible to use. I tried them on my granddaughter who has much thicker hair and experienced the same difficulty in getting them to work as expected.

Love these when I'm able to get them to work. Sometimes I can make a bun nice and tight that will last all day or the one that will fall apart in a couple of hours... but the biggest issues is the loose hair getting tangled in the small beads and then it is difficult to untangle.
