So, it's a $60 lamp that was delivered to me overnight. With that being said I want to focus on the value for the that $60. I'm going to deduct $10 from the initial cost to cover Amazons fee's and consider this a $50 lamp.First thing of course is the packaging. Box is heavy duty and glossy and immediately makes you feel like you bought something of some quality. Inside padding was adequate to protect lamp and with the sturdiness of the outer box, could afford to be minimal.After opening the box and taking out lamp, you can feel it actually has some weight to it. Quality construction and attention to detail. The faux leather wrap extends from the base, up the neck and out on to the head in a sleek, elegant fashion that isn't overwhelming at all and in fact, hardly noticeable, but a nice touch when you do. The base his fully covered in the wrap with a pronounced circle for the charging station. Making misplacing your phone on the pad near impossible. The base also has a nice chrome finish ring around the perimeter and the lamp control buttons are chrome plated also and blend in nicely.The clock feature is really well thought out, full of features and a nice touch. The dimmer and alarm options are a great idea as is the indoor temperature reading (switchable from F to C). I doubt I'll ever use the alarm feature, but I didn't buy the lamp for that and it's nice to have options. There is also a calendar tucked neatly under the clock display month, date and day of the week.As for the light, it does what it's supposed to do. It casts a wide spectrum and is bright enough to cover my 72" work desk at full brightness and dimmable to focus on my keyboard and is also dimmable down to a nightlight.Oh yes, and then there's the phone charger. It works as described, has plenty of surface area for my 13proMAX.So overall a very nice, full featured lamp, from the faux leather wrap with chrome accents to the clock/calendar display with alarm and temperature, to the lamp itself. My last desk lamp cost me $50, used incandescent bulbs and lasted me 5yrs. before being replaced with this one and didn't have any of the features this lamp has.As for longevity, we'll have to see. My lamp will not be in an abusive environment and will be used sparingly when working at night, so it will be up to the lamp itself on how well it holds up. If the quality of the LED's and current brightness of the LCD is anywhere near the quality of the build, I'm expecting good things.I know this was a long, detailed review for a lamp, but I was the first one to review it, so wanted to be thorough for those that may be considering this product. Besides, I'm just sitting here having coffee before heading out to work and am all caught up on things, so, "Why not?"Hope it helps!

This little guy gives off a lot of light. There are five levels of brightness, and five modes of coolness. Terrific. There are real, not virtual, controls on the front that regulate on/off, brightness, and mode. Fine. Plug it in and go.And then for charging, you can place your smart phone on the front for recharging, and say hello to two UPS slots, too.Again. Fine.The lamp arm pivots 180 degrees. It's very light, and it now sits happily on the shelf near my bed. And then, too, on the shaft of the lamp (see the picture in the product description), there is time, and alarm, which seems like a good thing, but also day, date, and of all things temperature. You set these, if you want to bother, with very small buttons on the back, and because they're on the back you can't see the numbers change as you set them up. To be honest, I'd not even have bothered, except I wanted to add this rather unnecessary feature to the review. And I was able to, thanks to a reviewer who pointed out that when you think you've somehow changed things to military time, you've actually called up the year.The little guy was born on January 1, 2017.But really this is so minor an issue, and you probably won't want to bother anyhow, So: I'm not deducting any stars.Oh, and by the way, there's a battery backup, Whatevs.

The modes are so useful on the lamp especially for me in my dorm because sometimes I want a light that’s not too bright to not disturb my roommate. Also, the white light is amazing is not giving a yellow hue which is awesome. The charger does work really well. Though that east up for the time and date was a bit confusing it wasn’t too bad.

Probably a 3.5 Star...This is a versatile desk/bedside lamp. It loses a star because the buttons to set up the clock/date/alarm are tiny and it is unnecessarily confusing! Also, the default alarm is set to midnight!! Scared the crap out of me the first time it went off, and I had no idea how to turn it off without reading the instructions. I would not buy this if you want it just for an alarm bedside lamp. It should have a designated button on the front for an alarm on/off button. Those things aside, once I did set it up it works great. Varying light temperatures and brightness and the light itself can swing, go up and down. I have not used the iPhone charger feature, so I can not speak to that feature. It has one USB port on the back which I wanted for my Apple watch. I think it is a fine lamp for the price point. I didn't do a lot of research prior to buying this...my nightstand lamp broke and I used it constantly so I just grabbed this one.

I replaced an old, broken $400 banker's lamp that was on the credenza in my office with this inexpensive lamp, and this is actually an upgrade! The height is perfect for a desk lamp; the lighting strength and color are adjustable, as is the positioning; having the date/time/temperature display available all the time is awesome; the built-in wireless charger rapidly charges my Samsung phone, and it's great having a conveniently-located USB charging port that allows me to charge something else at the same time. And it has a great contemporary look.

This desk light is great! Can be adjusted to the perfect angle, has the time, date and temperature. Also can charge my phone. My daughter had one for her desk and I just had to have one and it works great!

I bought two of these, one is super sensitive and turns on thru the night on its own, but that being said I love to see the time on it, I love the temperature of the room being on it, and it has like 3-4 different light options on how bright you want the light. It is very bright on the highest setting. Good price and me and my husband love them.

I really liked this. I love the wireless charging and adjustable light. Very compact and doesn't take up a lot of room on your desk. Looks nice and high quality.

Bought this to replace another that didn’t dim the display….This is a great light…easy ti set up and great for charging my IPhone…
