Unfortunately, words cannot express how happy this little bird has made me. First, he's not a snob. He drank regular tap water with as much enthusiasm as the Pellegrino. Secondly, he has stamina. He's at 18 hours of drinking and still going strong. Thirdly, his dumb expression makes you laugh at every sip.My only complaint, which leads to the loss of a star, is that the liquid inside is green and not red as stated in the description. This is not how I remember Dippy and it clashes with his red boots and beak. He more than makes up for this with his drinking ability, but the red liquid would make this a solid 5 star product and worth every penny.

We have had this bird in front of a glass of water for a month now and he hasn’t drank an ounce. We even tried red Kool-aid since that’s obviously what he likes, but no luck. I don’t think he really drinks. But he sure tries! He’s been bobbing up and down nonstop and works great! The kids like to watch him go up and down. They stay worried, though. Not really drinking. He may just be full, as his tummy doesn’t seem to empty and he never pees.

I've wanted one of these since I was a wee Lad. I am now 64 years old and live in a nursing home. All the young Aids are freaked out by it, and the older folks laugh and said they haven't seen one of these in years. This little bird has brought us a great deal of joy. It is a bargain at twice the price. Hehehehe! You will not go wrong buying one.
