This did a better job covering my gray than any other semi-permanent hair color, mask or gloss. My next best favorite is DP Hue, but IGK mask in Brown Bella matches my natural hair color and is very natural looking. With DP Hue, dark brown is too blue and medium brown is too golden. I add a dash of baking soda to the mask, then apply to dry hair, and put on a foil lined heat trapping cap to make the color penetrate my gray hair better. Then I shampoo, rinse with water and a touch of vinegar, then condition. It still takes more than one application to make my white roots dark brown, but it eventually does completely cover my nearly 100% gray areas. I like that I can just apply to certain spots, and that it doesn't have peroxide or ammonia. My hair is super-soft and bouncy after I use it. Edit to add: The IGK just didn't last long enough. I like the color brown, but wish it was a bit warmer. DP Hue's medium is too warm and their dark brown is too blue. Larely I mix DP Hue medium brown and IGK Brown Bella in my palm and apply with my gloved fingers to my dry roots. Thenn I put on a iinsulated shower cap for 30 minutes. Then I shampoo with Plantur Browns shampoo. I no longer add bakiing soda. I do that every 10 days or every 3rd to 4th shampoo and it works well for me. My hair is very healthy. Some gray is visible, but I am 100% gray in some areas and I am a senior, so I don't mind some gray, I just can't deal with my naturally white hair.

I love this stuff! Leaves the hair feeling incredibly soft and healthy. Gives my hair a nice color too. I just wanted to get as close to my natural color as possible after bleaching it blonde and didn’t want to damage it further with regular hair dye. This was the perfect solution. It will last me awhile too!

So I'm trying to review a different color than the original color I tried and it doesn't seem to be allowing me to post two different reviews on this product. So I will just say that the first half of my review is for the purple color, which I loved. I have brown hair with red and purple highlights and I wanted something to refresh the vibrancy between colorings and this did a great job, adding a nice rich purple color to my hair. I didn't even have to use a ton of the product in order to get the color I was looking for, and I left it on for at least 20 minutes. However, I have a negative review on the specific color of the lighter lavender. The parts of my hair that I used it on were pretty light from where the purple & red had faded from, so I was pretty surprised the lavender didn't hold to those sections, even though I coated all my hair. First I used half the bottle on clean damp hair and left it on for 30 minutes. I was disappointed with the color result, so when my hair was dry, I used the other half of the bottle again and left it on for 40 minutes. The best I got was a silvery shimmer of lavender in spots -- my hair had sort of a duskier sheen to it. It looks nothing like the color swatches shown in the ad. I kind of liked it as an experiment but I'd never get the lavender color again because I wanted vibrancy, and the purple really delivered on my expectations. I do like how soft and conditioned my hair felt after rinsing it out after both colorings -- you don't need to use any conditioner and I *always* need to use conditioner. My hair feels soft and silky when it dried. So I do think this is a really good product if you get the color that is correct for you. I will definitely order the darker purple again.

Fixed a bad salon dye job. Brown Bella is a balanced brown that covered my muddy green highlights with warmth but isn’t overly cherry red.

I love this hair depositing mask!!! I added mine with a ton of conditioner but it still served so much color!! A little goes a long way!! I LOVE this shade of copper, I was nervous at first thats why I added ao much conditioner but I ended up really like how it turned out. I had black hair, did color oops treatment waited for a few days did a bleach bath and got to a light dull copper blonde color then added this mask and it did absolutely amazing with covering and saving the day from not so even hair..

I like the cool brown color and the smell is manageable. I tried one other once and was ill from the odor so decided to try this. I do not have gray but lower half is brassy from length/sun exposure etc. I this for 30 min on nearly dry hair & lasted one wash only.

I tend to lift brassy, this is supposed to help with that cool tone. I’ve tried a couple different toner/depositing products and while I love the way my hair feels after this one. I honestly can’t tell a color difference. (This could just be because my hair isn’t platinum but was slightly disappointed with the lack of color left in my hair)

Very good quality, rich and very beautiful colors, smells nice and I recommend it for every person who has highlights or light color hair

I love this. Replace your conditioner once a week and end up with beautiful honey blonde hair. My hair is highlighted and the highlights take very well.

Colour is soooo nice. But used more than half the bottle for my shoulder length hair and colour lasted 3 washes. Not a good value in my opinion.

My hair has bleached highlights left it on for 20min didn’t leave that much pigment

Great fiery copper color with nice saturation! Note, I had a very similar colour already in pre-lightenened hair, but this definitely revitalized it!
