I love this thing. I'm glad it's plastic, it will be easier to keep clean and free from germs. I love the soft and the firmhead for different applications. I saw reviews that said the firm head was too soft. No way. Might as well use a brillo pad or steel wool, if you want anything farmer. The double plastic grip is handy. One position for short reaches and one position for long reaches. The little cord on it is Handy to hang it up .. The nice soft white looks good in your shower .. I really like that one side is white and the other side is brown. So it's easy to remember which side is softened which side is hard. I've been meaning to pay more attention to my feet for a long time. And this makes it easier. Glad I didn't get the wood one. I think it would have missed shape and attracted bacteria .This is one of those purchases that i'm really glad I made and spent some time reading and thinking about it, before I ordered the first one I saw. This is a good one. I am not paid. But I do recommend it.

There was sturdy protective plastic mold, the brush was safe even though the packing was dented.The brush is of excellent quality. The roughness of the brush is just perfect. Soft side is gentle on neck.Handle length is just perfect, had good grip and is sturdy as well.I've tried a bunch of cheap ones, all of their handles broke after more than a year. One of them had good brush.This is a bit expensive but improves quality of life and peace of mind.
