This book is extremely thorough and probably the most in-depth as a grammar book on modern Hebrew could be. If you love the language and want to know it, speak, and understand it as extremely well as possible, then this book is for you. It is probably overkill for most. However, if you love the language to the utmost, this book will do you justice.As someone who speaks Hebrew pretty fluently, I am using this book to really understand the language and all of its rules. This book gives gives plenty of attention to the different levels of formality in speaking the language. It is helpful to understand the differences between the "street talk" and the formal writing and speaking. The book is clear and pays attention to every detail one can imagine about the Hebrew language.The price is a little steep. However, for a specialty book like this, one can't expect it for any less.As I go through this book, I will hopefully update and add to this review.
