Algebra for JEE (Advanced), 3rd Edition Paperback – 29 April 2022

Very good for somebody preparing from entirely self study.If you are preparing from any jee coaching then your coaching material should be a better option and the tests will help.

Has ample number of questions from previous years papers and they make sure to insert a question which tests your understanding of a particular concept right after the theory of it has been detailed. As for the theory itself, its quite crisp and to the point, they don't over explain anything, so if you're going to study from scratch, i recommend watching a lecture on the topic alongside with the book and its questions (I recommend Mohit Tyagi on youtube, he has a terrific playlist which goes right into the depth of the concepts)

No subjective questions in this 2022 edition. (In exercises) Only objective questions like MCQ, MSQ, NAT, Paragraph type are there. Also In previous edition of cengage there are subjective questions of previous Years of IIT (From 1978) but in this edition they are missing. They include previous year questions from JEE 2010 onwards in this edition.

You will find the solved examples on their app in form on subjective assessments and I recommend doing trigonometry before starting with this book.

That means it is one package for all your needs. On top of that it also has detailed solutions for same at the end of the book!

Selection of questions is fantastic. Theory is also presented in logically consistent way. The author has really good understanding of the subject. What makes this book extremely useful is it, that the author is a inquisitive and brilliant student who is learning the subject while writing it. Every doubt has logical explanation.Please don't get intimidated by big size of the book. Just solve the worked out examples independently. It is sufficient. Half of the book is just solutions of the exercises.

If a student religiously solves the questions from this book 📖 apart from following his coaching notes and dpp's . He will surely get a good grip in JEE- MATHEMATICS, for both ( mains and advanced) . Study your coaching notes and DPP'S as well as PYQ'S for JEE-MAINS and apart from that solve this book and PYQ'S for advanced level.
