I use it for coffee. It's great! But sometimes a little bit of the coffee grounds escape. But either than that, it works great.

This actually made excellent coffee with no issues of grinds in coffee, but after 3rd wash it tore at the seam. No way to salvage so tossed out at end of week. Used only silicone brush for a light brush.

Works and is easy to clean

Pictured in the description pics is a screw on lid cover— this is not included nor is the lid a silicone type tight seal lid. It’s just a pop in, not on or over, plastic flex lid. If it’s jostled at all the lid pops off and your tea or coffee grains are now all over in your water.This apparently needs the pitcher they recommend for it and that’s not at all made clear in the basic description or pics. It’s only pointed out they have one it fits into. I could’ve bought a screw on metal mesh, large size, hanging tea infuser and it would’ve worked better—for this price. Not worth hassling to send it back but I think this should be made very clear. This is *not* a floating diffuser you can pop into any jar or pitcher like others of this price. It’s specific to their pitcher for the security of your herbs/brew.

This thing is awesome! I've been wanting to try cold brewed coffee for a while now, and with this pitcher and filter, I was able to make my own at home just the way I wanted it. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what kind of balance I want when it comes to water vs. coffee grounds and whatnot, but my first few tries have gone pretty well. I usually put about a​ 1/8th of a cup of coffee grounds to every two cups of water, so I tried the same with the cold brew and it wasn't quite right. I've since been putting more and more each time trying to find out exactly what kind of flavor I'm going for. Overall, I love being able to use this for cold brew coffee. It makes it a lot easier in the mornings to just pour and go, rather than having to brew in the coffee pot every day. Definitely well worth the money!!

Easy to clean sturdy too.

I tore the filter on my Coffee Bear cold brew pitcher and their website was back ordered for a replacement. I crossed my fingers that this one would work and thankfully it does. It fits perfectly and appears to be the same quality, will be more careful when cleaning so as not to tear this one.

Welp... this didn't work. Unless you have the screw pitcher lid this thing is designed for it's just a disaster waiting to happen. Bought this to go in my Mason jars so I can cold/vacuum brew but the lid for this is a joke. It couldn't hold on in a stiff breeze. If it tipped over the lid would fall off faster than a drunk granny on a greasy yoga ball.It only held about 80 grams of drip ground coffee. Don't judge me I like my cold brew stronger than hercules and 5 times as dark. It's too much hassle to send back so the seller wins this round.Maybe I'll find a way to make it a coffee strainer. LoL. Seriously don't buy this unless you get their pitcher. You'll be upset.
