Good accurate title.
Gave this to our Ukrainians and they have found it useful.

Very disappointing!
What a disappointment! This book seems to have been cobbled together in a hurry with no proper editing or knowledge of teaching English as a foreign language. Numerous errors - for example '20 - Twelve'; a mixture of American and English spelling; misleading typography - for example, writing words with a capital letter when they would not normally be spelt in this way; examples which are unnatural English and out of context ('He goes to the sea'), incorrect English ('the food'). The phonetic alphabet is bizarre and unhelpful. Some strange examples (how many learners need to use the word 'turtle'?). Inconsistent: for example 'the numbers' and 'numbers' given as headings on the same page - how do learners know which to use? Yes, it will be useful for Ukrainians who have no English because it is better than nothing, but there must be better books than this on the market.

Spelling mistakes
I ordered this book in haste as wanted something visual to help 4 Refugees I'm helping, with learning English. It's very basic, but will be useful, however there are several spelling mistakes that I found annoying, but can of course rectify with a pen!

Quite a few inaccuracies
Unfortunately, there are quite a few inaccuracies in this book. I bought it as a teacher of English as a second or other language to use with Ukrainian learners. Clearly it was never properly edited before going to press. As a result, its usefulness has been very limited.

Watch out for errors and sudden price increase
This will be really useful for refugees arriving in the UK. However, there are several errors and some American words. So, I suggest English hosts read through and make corrections / English additions, before giving to Ukrainian people. Also, I am disappointed to see that Amazon has hiked the price from £7.99 to £11.99 which I would say is profiteering from the hardship of the Ukrainian people. Mr Besos could afford to give these away for free.

Learning English for Ukrainians or so they say.
This book was far too basic for a Ukrainian attempting to learn English. The book was also full of errors. The front cover announced that it was a Color edition. In the food examples we don’t eat Zuccini in the UK. We eat Courgette. Nor do we eat Eggplant, but Aubergine! French Frise I assume was meant to mean French Fries. But we eat Chips! I have had to make amendments for our Ukrainian guest. All in all it was a waste of money.

American words, and typos and gramatical errors!

Good starting point
Good mixture of entertainment and teaching of English. OK for children and adults who are just beginning to learn English. Quick delivery.

Misleading
I guess it’s better than nothing? But the fact that when I first opened the book and saw a typo wasn’t reassuring. I thought it would be a textbook to help Ukrainians learning English, but it’s just a list of translated words. Just incredibly low effort and the cover is super misleading. If you told me the creator either doesn’t actually speak English or Ukrainian I would 100% believe you.

Book has almost no value, just translated words
Just use google translate write words on cards and try to memorize - you will have more from it than from this book. All English books I have seen on Amazon for Ukrainians were made to make fast money and not generate value.I could make this book on a rainy weekend. So there was very less effort put in this book. The aim also here was not to generate value to the student, but to generate money.I am an Engineer and could have made a much better book.It makes me super angry, as you frustrate people who make an effort to learn a language and especially for Ukrainians it is key for their future. For them it is anyway more difficult as they have a completely different grammar and even letters. Imagine what bad experience those people make and how frustrated they are in their learning process. You should be ashamed or at least take it as a request to massively improve your book.Making a product always should have the aim to generate value. This book does not generate much value and has high potential to frustrate. It was not made to generate value, but money. Sorry to say.

I met a Ukrainian child and I wanted to give him this book so that he could communicate with me and other people in English. The gift was invited immediately he was very happy also because it is a very easy and detailed book. With this book he is learning the most important English terms, common questions and answers and verbs to use. Inside there is the English alphabet, 1000 English words with Ukrainian translation, verbs and much more. This book is helping him slowly he is learning the English language and he is very happy, I recommend it if you know Ukrainian friends, children, etc. this is the right gift.

Basically good
Basically a good book to give newcomers a good working vocabulary. On the Home "Fornishings" part there was a mistake; should have been "furnishings". I noticed one or two other typos which is why I cannot give it a 5 star rating. Some of the vocabulary chosen also has synonyms that could have also been added in, e.g. sofa = couch. Words for weather could include adjectives along with the nouns: rain - rainy, snow - snowy, etc. By and large I am pleased with this book.
