Great read for therapists and parents
Excellent book. Easy to read with many, many different topics. It is not only great for kids on the spectrum, but it also addresses many behavior and sensory questions such as how to help kids tolerate haircuts, decrease biting other children, and increasing eye contact during play. Definitely recommend it to all types of therapists, teachers and especially parents (and relatives) who work with kids on the spectrum or just show some 'odd' behaviors that you want new strategies to address.

A good guide.
I reference this "manual" a lot and have highlighted the basic techniques to use at the end of the book (keeps me from getting too overwhelmed)...however, it did not address handling when your child gets physical (my doesn't like to be touched, so I had to revise my approach by substituting visual cues instead of the hand-over-hand guiding when teaching cooperation).I might add that this book is a nice reference for my "typical" 3 year old as well.
