It was only when we had issues trying to install, I re-read the 5 star reviews & realised that many of the reviews were based on the product being supplied as a promotion! The fittings are cheap very thin plastic Chinese produced, & not fit for purpose. New more robust fittings have to be purchased. To install a separate free standing tap, which Is required for this sink, check the depth of the worktop, especially if it is to go in a granite or marble worktop as there is not much space between back of sink to wall & will encroach on the internal base unit when drilling the hole. Due to the depth of the sink, it is nigh on impossible to reach behind the sink to connect tap to waste etc. not one review mentioned this, hence why I am dubious the reviews were genuine. It’s been a nightmare trying to set up, & took a few hours. Unfortunately, due to kitchen installation,I was unable to return within the timeframe, however I have contacted Amazon to voice concerns regarding the reviews.

This is a good quality sink and is just perfect to replace the old grubby and chipped ceramic sink in my workshop. The sound dampening is pretty good - I am often cleaning hard and heavy objects, and was a bit concerned that the noise would be unbearable but it is absolutely fine. My ceramic sink was quieter, but this is much more durable - certainly it is it more resistant to damage.It comes with everything required bar the taps - though I am filling mine from a hose so don't need taps anyway. Installation was a breeze as I have built it into a custom made open frame, so access to the drain and overflow could not have been easier. I'm really please with it and expect it will last for many years.

A simple small under sink ideal for a smaller kitchen or utility room, very straightforward to install and feels sturdy and good quality. Great item.

This is a sink that will last for a very long time as its being designed with brilliant quality materials. It is designed with stainless steel. Everything is included in the pack by the way, all you need to buy is the tap but that's standard though which is absolutely the perfect package.The finishing design is perfect which is amazing. The installation is quite very easy which is amazon and i will surely recommend this product as its absolutely brilliant product .

First impressions are that the sink material is sturdy seems reasonably thick and tough. Comes with Overflow and drain pipework and connectors including the spur for a washing machine. The plastic pipe between the overflow and drain seemed a bit flimsy but we had no issue with it. The sink was surface mounted on a worktop and looks great - the edges were slightly rough under the rims but were soon smoothed. Overall we felt it was good quality and value. Time will tell if it is reliable.

Very easy to install, the sink itself goes deep, so much room for dishes to be placed in the sink. I had an old sink and there wasn't enough space for dishes and would overload. However, the only downside to this would be a drainer; this has no drainer, otherwise this would have been 5* from my end. This is sturdy made from premium quality and has the tools needed to be fitted.I'm a plumber, so I know how to fit these sinks in myself. The size is perfect for a new fitted sink. Overall great quality, only downside is the drainer.

This sink is made of stainless steel and is built like a tank. I have confidence that it will serve me for a long time. It's a bit trickier to install than a regular sink, as it sits underneath the worktop not in it, but this give a nice flush look and also makes the sink that much deeper, especially if you have a thick worktop. The downside is that you need to have a perfect cut in the worktop, otherwise it will look horrible, whereas with a sink that sits in the worktop, rather than under...well you can have an ugly cut and cover it up with the sink so that's definitely worth considering and ask a professional if needed. Everything is included in the pack by the way, all you need to buy is the tap but that's standard. All in all a great quality sink and highly recommended.

At the time of reviewing, the sink was £150 and worth every penny. Last year I bought a cheap £40 sink for my workshop and I really felt it was inferior and showed all the signs of being poor quality. This UMI (Amazon brand) sink is one of the best I've seen I and I'm very happy to give it a good review.The packaging.The sink arrives in a strong box, polystyrene lined and with thick corner protections. This won't get damaged in transit. All the necessary fittings are included and also a robust cardboard template for cutting out the sink hole.On initially examining the sink, I noticed the substantial weight and strong build. The steel is thick and finished in a soft polished lustre that looks superb. All the sink top edges are finished smoothly and the form and alignment of the surfaces are without any blemishes or marks.The underside of the sink is damped with good soundproofing, so if you do drop your cutlery in, it won't sound tinny and noisy. This sink also comes with a clever system that allows you to fit it underneath the worktop surface, giving a cleaner more minimalist look.What I really liked is the no-puddle drain design. The bottom of the sink is slightly sloped towards the middle so that all the water drains away without leaving residue and puddles. So different to the cheap versions.The sink looks superb and I'm looking forward to the contractors fitting it in our kitchen. Time for a new tap and worktop, oh and splashback, cupboards. etc. See what happens, you end up having to fit an entirely new kitchen! Thanks, Amazon...
