thankyou for the free tea bags lovely surprise from goldstone books. you are not going to believe this but i bought the book when it first came out. as i started to read it. i thought ive read this before but as its such a good book i read it again. he is an absolute master at writing about ancient eygpt. i do believe he was one in a past life incredable the details of the time. buy it you wont be able to put it down

I thought this a rather convoluted tale which has drawn its characters from other books. Although lively in its descriptions, the convenience of events is even more far fetched than usual in historical fiction.

Not as good as the previous books in the series.

What an adventure with many surprising turns. No doubt that the main characters will be seen again to try and defeat the Hyskos.

I thought that I had read all the books featuring Twits yet here he pops up again in Smiths fabulously written books. Highly recommended
