SonyPCKLM15 LCD Protector for DSC-RX1 (Black)

Fantastic quality and perfect fit for Sony Alpha 7ii (A7ii). I've used a lot of screen and privacy filters for phones, tablets, and similar devices in the past and the quality of this one is exceptional. I was tempted to save a few dollars and cut down a cheap phone cover, but glad I didn't. The Sony PCKLM15 LCD Protector is noticeably thicker than most phone covers. It also has a nice texture and Sony branding on it. It covered the panel of the A7ii well and did not crop any of the underlying LCD image area. Smudges seem to bounce off of it and I'm confident in it's ability to stay put and protect the screen.Application was easier than most screen protectors too. A quick cleaning of the LCD to ensure there was no dust or smudges and then removed the backing from the protector and applied starting at one side and smoothing out to the other. Didn't require any signifiant bubble pushing to clear air bubbles. Once on you'll quickly forget it's there.

This is an authentic product which as usual is more costly so don't complain about price because it's for a premium camera. Install is simple and straight forward, don't push down on the center. clean the screen well before application then line up the edges and drop into place. I found the green protective top sheet a hindrance to alignment so removed that and just handled the screen by the edges. It does what it's suppose to it protects the screen and can easily be removed by gently pulling up the edges with your finger nail.Other screen protectors may stick to the entire screen which when removed can cause some damage so take care, also they are more likely to produce bubbles. It looks factory so I'm happy

I just wanted to add that after some research I ordered this for my Sony A7RM2 / A7RII and it fit great. I have the other version, PCKLM16, which is made for the A7/A7R but it would have to be placed upside down on the A7 MkII versions making the SONY logo upside down. The screen protector does a great job protecting the rear screen but I wish it had better anti glare coatings like some of the high end phone protectors offer.To install mine, I clean the entire camera to make sure all the dust it off it and then use a lens cleaning cloth on the screen to get any remaining cleaning cloth fuzz off it, then I peel the screen protector (with green alignment sheet) from the shipping material and line it up with the screen and press it down, then remove the green alignment sheet from the top of the screen protector. Since these aren't real flexible it's pretty easy to remove and realign if the first time doesn't line up just right.

Just received this from Amazon and put it on my older Sony DSC RX100 Cybershot camera. The old one was so worn in the middle and it was so frustrating trying to see what you were taking pictures of. I use this camera alot for taking thousands of photos of my internet business items. I was so excited to receive this today so as soon as it arrived, I took the old cover off that came with the camera from Sony (used an exacto knife to life one of the corners and used tweezers to get it peeled up a bit to remove the old) and used a Zeiss cleaning lens wipe to clean the screen before applying this new protector. It went on perfectly! Followed instructions to apply the upper right hand corner first and poof, it is aligned perfect and looks brand new again! Now I am going to check one of my other Sony cameras to see if that lens also came with a protector applied, if so I am going to replace that one too! Hope this helps you, enjoy!

Perfect for the A7ii! Installation is pretty straightforward like most of these protectors. Make sure you wipe your screen (I cleaned mine first with alcohol- then wiped it dry with another tissue) and get rid of ANY dust on the screen, the camera body, and the protector. I just used canned air for this. The protector is pretty much an exact fit. So be sure to line up the edges evenly. Put it over the screen first before removing the back adhesive so you can get an idea how this will fit. Also like the instructions say, DO NOT press on the middle of the protector right after putting it on- even to just wipe off dust or fingerprints after application. Wait about 15 minutes before you do this. It seems like the adhesive needs a little bit of time to cure before applying pressure to it. (I found this out when I lightly buffed the screen and saw the "rainbow" underneath. Luckily it wasn't too bad and it went away in about 10 seconds!)One bonus that I have found with these screen protectors is that if you have a light scratch already, they will often disappear once the protector is applied. My guess is the adhesive probably fills it in.

A little tricky to place… atFirst u think there’s one side too long. Once on it looks good.does what it’s supposed to !

Es un excelente protector semi rígido. Debo decir que en México no había encontrado protectores con esta calidad para mi Sony 7II, incluso en la propia tienda de Sony pregunté muchas veces y decían que ellos no manejaban nada para proteger la pantalla de la cámara, así que después de ver varios en la red, di con éste que francamente me ha dejado muy contento.No trae ninguna toallita antiestática, pero por suerte yo tenia una que me sirvió para poder limpiar mi pantalla y así no dejar ni pelusa ni burbuja. Quedó perfecta, pediré otra para mi RX100 V
