Hot Times in the Garden of Eden Paperback – Import, 6 January 2013

This book brings together suspense, science fiction, and romance together in an interesting story! I greatly enjoyed reading this and was captivated to the end. Conceptually, it is of course fiction, but some new ideas. It is interesting to think about not only what's going on with our planet, but possibilities that could be in other planets as well.Along with the climate change, politics, science and some physics concepts, Mr. McKibben weaves a story set in Tampa, San Francisco, the Brazilian rainforest, and another fictional planet. The story is thought provoking, but could be a good "beach read" also. Definitely the suspense and romance keeps the reader turning pages and wondering what may happen next. The political aspects are interesting as well, what may influence our politicians as well as world wide leaders to vote on resolutions, etc.Definitely, pick up this book if you would like something both entertaining and thoughtful--you will not be sorry!

A page-turner all the way through! Takes the reader outside the box to a reality that is very different from 'normal', but surely fun to consider! Action and thought-provoking questions throughout! Couldn't put it down!!! Can't wait for the sequel....

Very well written. Interesting and intriguing. I hope Fred writes some more and I look forward to reading the next effort.
