These are rare to find metal knob replacement to GE’s cheap and crappy plastic knobs that contractors buy. The fit is excellent as long as you measure and actually check the dimensions mentioned in the product. All these one star reviewers never did a simple check on fit before buying. The knob is solid metal but the underlying plate is some form of hard and thick plastic. Still a much needed upgrade!

The replacement part number for my original GE range knob is said is compatible, per your description that these will fit. However, the diameter of the hole is too small.So anyone looking to purchase these knobs just be aware they may not fit.

I BOUGHT THESE TO REPLACE THE PLASTIC KNOBS ON MY SISTERS COOKTOP GAS STOVE THAT MY MOM HAD SET A VERY HOT PAN ON TOP OF THE 4 KNOBS TO DO SOMETHING TEMPORAILY, YET IT MELTED THE PLASTIC ONES , SO I LOOKED HARD TO FIND A GREAT QUALITY THAT WOULD HOLD UP TO SUCH MISHAPS, AND THESE REALLY FIT THE BILL, VERY HAPPY WITH THEM, JUST WISH THEY WERE OFFERED IN BLACK AS WELL, ALTHOUGH THE SILVER STAINLESS LOOKS NICE AS A CONTRAST AGAINST THE BLK ENAMEL GAS COOK TOP..

These appeared to be exact replacements for my GE gas stove-top control knobs. However, had to return them, as the hole and spindle that connects them to the control pin was too short, there was no metal sleeve to keep it from breaking. It didn't seem to fit properly, and did not turn the gas valve at all.
