Transformers TLK-15 Caliber Optimus Prime First Press Limited Edition

As far as the Transformers: The Last Knight and Transformers: Age of Extinction figures go, this figure gets rid of the ridiculous "backpack" that the American/ Hasbro retail version along with a bunch of remolding on the chest and a remolded face with the option to switch between the mask and full facial Optimus Prime. It also has a more detailed paint job. Its a little expensive, yes, but its the best figure you'll get that's based off of the live action films.

I cannot sat enough good things about this Optimus Prime!!! He is stunning!!! We’ve just opened it, but the quality is amazing!!! I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!! The one thing I would caution about is that it does take 4-6 weeks to get, so plan ahead. You will not be disappointed. My grandson loves it and he is 6. Thank you JapanShop!!!

Besides being one day late, it was over all fantasctic. It was in perfect condition. Highly recommend buying it. Comes with a double bladed ax(the one i think Optimus Prime used to kill Megatron in Transformers 3 DOTM), the sword and another sword. Very Happy :D

I was buying different figures for Christmas as presents for the family, and I remembered how I always wanted a Transformer, but it eluded me because Ninja Turtles was more important to me when I was 5 and 6, and then Transormers also fell out of popularity by the time I was ready for it.At first I was going to just get a cheaper Hasbro version for around $50, but then I saw this one as a recommended product.I decided to just spoil myself and get myself a definitive figure that I'll just keep as a display.I am very happy with this figure overall, but there is some drawbacks.Cons:1. It takes some work to pop the head in during transformation. I had to try a few times before it would stay in. I think the more I wear it in, the better the functionality.2. The bottom half of the door doesn't attach all that well when transforming into truck mode.3. Mistakes can cause you to break it. Watch YouTube videos a few times before trying to do it yourself.4. I would not trust a child with this figure. Get the child a cheaper Hasbro one instead. This is obviously for collecting and not for playing.Pros:1. Very beautifully engineered and designed.2. No backpack.3. Amazing details and articulation.4. No stickers to stick on5. Weapons are coolOverall, a great product, but if your kid is rough with his toys, there are more appropriate options. If it's for yourself and want one, get it for sure.

Based on appearance, my grandson is going to love it. The detail is very impressive. The Takara figure makes the Hasbro edition look like a very cheap production. My only concern is everything on the box is written in Japanese, so I hope we will be able to figure out how to transform the figure without breaking it.

Item arrived missing several pieces.....

This version is far & above the Hasbro edition. The paint job alone has much more detail than the Hasbro Prime. The only issue is the size of the shield it’s too big...it’s the back wheels so he looks better when on display otherwise it’s very sweet
