I use this product for my bike. It works, but I used it slightly different. Instead of putting it straight in I put it through the back and slowly twisted it back.

Work as well as the Park brand for 1/2 the price.

not recommendedpros they do work.conshad to use a drill press to tap the sprocket arms. i think it's because the starting taper is only 2 threads.

great tool and price to fix a stripped peddle. really saves you on kids bikes. Left and right didn't appear to be marked but trial end error sorted that out.

Pedals are steel. Cranks are aluminum. Cross-started threads happen. Run the tap in from the non-boogered side, and it cleans up the crank threads. Cheaper than a pair of cranks, and the pair doesn't cost more than an individual tap. Almost glad I had the problem, because the solution is so good.

The taps work very well. The only issue I have is that they are difficult to tell apart. It isn't as easy as one woudl think to see the difference in the threads themselvers, so a big bold engraved L and R would be ideal. Even a sticker would be helpful.

Worked and fixed my crank set. They arent labeled left/right so just be careful to get the thread direction correct. I came through the inside of the crank and threaded out.
