Giant Print Bible-Nab-St. Joseph

The typeset is 13.5 pt, which is easy on the eyes. The Bible is extremely nice and excellent quality. It lays flat in your lap and at 7 x 10 size is a pleasure to read, not like other books which are smaller in size that requires you to hold it close to your face to read.My only complaint is the translation of some verses. Like Genesis 1:2; “mighty wind sweeping over the waters”. Instead of “And the Spirit of God moved over the water”

I've been looking for a Catholic Bible that is easy and enjoyable to read. I believe this is it. On the outside, it is beautiful. Though the cover is not real leather (the only improvement I would make), it is very nice. The featured picture looks sort-of burgundy, but the color is truly brown. The size is comfortable, and lays nicely on a table or desk. Inside, the giant 14 point type is easy on the eyes, even if you don't need reading glasses. The text is sectioned nicely so it is easy to find specific topics like "the woman at the well", "the beatitudes", or "the our father". This makes Bible reading more enjoyable for me and reads more like literature or personal letters than a study or text book. I chose NAB because most Mass texts (sacramentary & lectionary) are NAB as well as most breviaries. Overall, a great version of a great Book! Highly recommended.

This bible is magnificent: I am amazed and so happy, the giant print is just what I needed... In fact, I have had bibles through the years, but this bible is now 'THE BIBLE' that I will cherish forever.... thank you so much...The cover is fantastic and beautiful, I love the feel! :) God Bless everyone who reads this

This is a very good bible, the print font size is perfect for my middle aged eyes. The binding cover is attractive, looks like leather. This is a bible for everyday use, will last for years. Very pleased with this, good value. I recommend to others. This was a nice enough Bible, but I returned it because it did not have the footnotes in it that I thought were standard for this version, and because it was so heavy. Both of these conditions were understandable given the fact that it is in giant print. However, it was quite a jolt to have to pay a "restocking fee" of almost $19.00! I will definitely not shop online for this type of product ever again!

Don’t like the maps using the term Palestine. Modern day Israel and the surrounding areas don’t even have a mention nor are there borders. Either very old maps or agenda. Since it’s a Bible I’ll get over being annoyed. The regular text is large enough to see for my 40 something eyes. It’s a pleasure to hold there is weight without it being too heavy. The length and width are a reasonable size. I miss the Ignatius blue back hardcover bible translation. I don’t need the family record stuff included. I know I can get daily reading from USCCB but there are times it’s just more enjoyable to read from a physical bible.

I just love it! Turned the 3-way lamp on with coffee table on my right and a hot cup of Joe and I'm reading the bible in a year - since 11/01/2016 and haven't missed a day! The font is perfect. Cover soft and flexible.

Beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The font is giant and perfect for my 78 year old mother. She keeps telling me how pretty it is and so easy to read.
