Top Gun: Maverick

The vinyl content is good but there are far too many crackles some quite loud on both sides.Have requested exchange. Amazon are dispatching vinyl albums purely in brown envelopes which offer no support against damage to sleeves whilst in transit. I have mentioned this previously but my issue is being ignored. No other vinyl retailer would send out records in this manner.

Hi, for those of us who remember and were alive during the 80's and for those who grew up in that decade, the movie Top Gun was a staple of entertainment during those times. The number of times I watched the original movie time and again having taped it off the TV on the good 'ol VHS video tape. The soundtrack too was iconic and the frequent re-releases of the soundtrack and it's constituent singles must have earned the studio a fair coin for a great many years. The sequel movie Top Gun Maverick is a shameless fun and swift entertaining summer flick not burdened by an unnecessary message of societal doom or PC 'woke-ism'. The soundtrack follows suit with this ethos. A mixture of Hans Zimmer, Lady Gaga and (he of Axel F) Harold Faltermeyer! Those wishing for a trip down memory lane can use this CD soundtrack as a conduit, those who weren't born in those times or who don't wish to time travel can easily use the CD to do so and easily move forward. An excellent recording!

I thought that Maverick was the best sequel I had ever seen, and loved every minute of it. If you feel the same, buy the CD. There isn’t a tune on it I don’t like. I’ve put it in the car and can relive my magic Maverick moments, the music takes you back to all of the best scenes in the movie. Love love love!!!

Not to sure of what I was expecting

Love the sound track's in the movie including Hold My Hand by Gaga.The music video of the song is great photography.This cd just allows me to add the music to my favourites and play it anywhere.

I love the music contained on this. Darkstar and Penny (Interlude) my favourite. There have been some gripes that it’s short. But hold on to your hats as Lorne Balfe has said that a second Top Gun Maverick Soundtrack is in the works. So get this to satisfy the moment or hold on for a fuller compilation when it gets released.
