Don't listen to the other reviewer. The book is very well done. The photos are just fine. One of my favorite sections is the very insightful background information about Bradford's life and family history told through a lengthy one-on-one interview. You will also find find very thorough documentation of Bradford's preparation for the 2017 Venice Biennale through a series of photographs and essays. The book also contains various expository writings that explore the underlying motives that drives the artist's work.

I hoped for so much more. Disappointed.
very disappointed. I love Mark Bradford's paintings. Very few photos of actual paintings. Not great photo quality. Definitely would not recommend if you are looking for nice photos of his paintings.
