Had a few months and I really love this pillow!
This is my first buckwheat pillow and I’m really enjoying this one! It’s super comfortable :)I like that it’s easily adjustable and I was able to remove some of the buckwheat to a level that was more comfortable for me :) it was jam packed full with buckwheat when I opened up the box, so after removing a few handfuls it was perfect!I got this one because I liked that it was a smaller pillow and I really enjoyed the color scheme! I love that it’s made of cotton :)Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase!

Something to get used to
Umm, I mean its like a hard, rectangular bean bag. It definitely conforms to your neck/ base of head shape and is supportive. But bc its just filled with the buckwheat pod things its got no give... maybe I'll try some memory foam bits🤷🏻♀️Eta: after some time with this pillow, I'm used to it and actually like it quite a bit

Best pillow
I specifically looked for buckwheat pillows (not easy to find). I got the neck pillow in the same color from this company, and decided to get this one as well, though I wasn't sure what I will use it for. Best decision!!!! It is so versatile. I don't even use the neck pillow, but this one has been in constant use, day and night. I really like that it's not filled to the brim. I literally use this pillow for everything. I put it between my knees at night and it really relieved my hip discomfort as a side sleeper. I put it behind my back, under my head, under my knees, under my elbow, etc. I used to put it under my belly during pregnancy while sleeping, and took it to the hospital during delivery. I discarded my nursing pillow and used this one. I exercise with it instead of a yoga block.I washed the cover many times, no problem. A year of constant use and it's still great. I am typing this with this pillow behind my neck.

Underfilled and inpossible to fully fill
I have had multiple buckwheat hull-filled pillows over the years, but they've all been standard 20"x30" size pillows. About two years ago, I discovered cube pillows and have never looked back. I love how the right angle of the pillow edge fits perfectly in that area between my shoulder and the side of my head. Almost perfect, aside from the fact that every one I've encountered has been a foam pillow, which hold onto a lot of heat.Enter this pillow--buckwheat hull-filled AND a cube pillow?! I thought this might be my perfect pillow. Alas, I was very disappointed. What I Liked:- It's really attractive. The case is really nice-looking.What I Didn't Like:- The pillow arrived severely under-filled. It was less than two inches tall when I lay my head on it. That's not remotely close to being comfortable.- I figured I'd just add more buckwheat hulls, since I have a bag or two of hulls around from my full-sized buckwheat hull pillow days. Easy enough to remove and fill the interior bag. However, when I tried to insert the hull bag back into the pillowcase, I just couldn't do it. The opening in the pillowcase is just too small to reinsert the bag with the additional fill included. Note that the zipper does not run close to the entire length of the back of the pillowcase. As a result, I couldn't get the bag back in. And the small opening makes it impossible to partially remove the interior bag and fill it that way. I had to remove the additional buckwheat hulls, which put me back at square one with a floppy, flat pillow.NOTE: The product description doesn't include the height/thickness of the pillow, only the width and length. The end panels of this pillow are only 3", so this is a very, very thin pillow, even if you were to somehow be able to jam the bag back into the pillowcase after adding additional fill. This pillowcase is just too thin. If the zippered opening had been large enough to insert a properly-filled bag back into it, I would have given it a try. But the fact that I couldn't do that and was left with a thin, floppy pillow made this a non-starter.I hold out hope that somebody will make a 4" or 5" buckwheat hull cube pillow someday--one with a proper opening to allow easy adjustment of the fill volume. This one just isn't it.

Beware of Mites!
Beautiful pillow. It was smaller than expected, but that’s my own fault. The big surprise came when I unzipped the cover. What I first thought was broken flecks from the buckwheat hulls turned out to be mites. There were about half a dozen that I saw. I zipped it back up, put it back in the plastic bag and popped it in the freezer. Hopefully staying there over the weekend, followed by a good wash, will take care of things.

Solid
It's comfortable enough for my neck, the only thing is, I wish it can be bigger. It's rather hard to find a pillow case of this size.
