The original cap on my '12 Lexus IS 250 finally gave up. The seals inside hardened and began to crack due to age, I'm sure the chemicals it keeps under pressure at above boiling temperatures and the Arizona heat, and my car lost the pressure required for the coolant system. Needless to say I started experiencing strange readings from my coolant temp guage. After diagnosis it turned out I needed a new cap to seal properly, and ensure system had proper amount of coolant and purge system of air. Everything is back to normal and works as should. Works and fits as described!

I’ve gone through a lot of rad caps on my 2009 Toyota Tacoma and this one works the best. I never knew how important it was to get a good one till I got this one that finally fixed my cooling problems
