Snap was a bit rough until I lubricated it.

Good leash, but is starting to show wear (scratches, rough patches). But I like the feel of it and is easy on the hands. For reference, I have a ~75 pound rescue who doesn't have leash manners (working on it) and is reactive. I do use herm sprenger and this is my daily leash.

Bought this leashing hoping it would last a couple weeks while I waited for another from Ray Allen.This leash is quality. I work my police K9 on it every day and it holds up to all our abuses of it - water, extreme pulling, getting caught on things, etc.I would buy this again.

This is a great heavy duty leash; my second one. My Boxer wears a harness that I clip this leash to and it does a great job in holding him back....he is a puller and the leash has a lot of give to it as well, which I also like. The 6 feet length is nice as I wrap and unwarp it around my wrist to give the dog more or less lead. My first one of these leashes lasted two years and would still be using now except when my dog was two he chewed a notch out of it and over time the leather dried out and he eventually snapped it in two. Best to treat it with some leather conditioner and not let your dog chew it as I did and will least a very long time - years. I highly recommend and will buy again if/when needed.
