Love these. They last longer than yak chews from other brands and they offer my dogs hours of entertainment that give me a break.

Update 3/12 - I'm upgrading this from 2 stars to 4 stars due to the seller's excellent customer service. I contacted Amazon CS via chat and they connected me right away with the seller. The seller was extremely responsive, took a look at the photo, and offered to ship me out a replacement of the 5lb batch at no cost. The replacement was one 3lb bag and two 1lb bags because that's what I had ordered in the past with success. So, my issue was solved within 24 hours and I got the new batch a day after that. I would still caution a buyer against the 5lb bag if they have large dogs like I do and to stick with the smaller bags that most certainly have the 6+ inch sticks. I will continue to buy from this seller.EcoKind's description says "The sticks come in 5LB bag that contains huge pieces of 6-8 inches in length and 1-2 inches in width." See photo. This is clearly not the case with the bag I received today. This is my fourth purchase of EcoKing yak treats and the last 3 bags were pretty good. Only 1-2 broken and all of them definitely over 6 inches.I have contacted EcoKind and will update my review once I hear back. Usually I would not be so picky but I paid over 89 bucks for something I cannot give my dog.

These are great. They’re not rawhide but last at least as long, and without the digestive risks described by my vet. They can chew them down to quite tiny, then we heat them up and crumble it into the kibble. I keep a stash for travel, guest dogs, July 4th, etc. each one lasts a couple days.

Most folks don't realize it but puppies go through two phases of chewing, which they Must do by the way. They have to chew to get their teeth in comfortably so you may as well decide what they will chew.After the first puppy teeth come in the back molars make an appearance, at around 6 months, and this is where you can lose a chair leg if you don't provide the selection. That's where these Yak chews come in. They're perfect for molars and the next couple of years. My last puppy is now 4 and still chews them although not as often as in the first two years.Bon appétit puppies. Hopefully your Owners are reading up on your need to chew and not getting you in trouble for it....

Amended review! I stupidly thought these were just like all other chews, open the bag and give them one. They smelled wonderful and the girls immediately took them. I have two chewers, they tear through bully sticks in 15 min. They liked these yak chews, but they were impossible to make a dent in. I even soaked one end to try and soften it a bit, but nothing. They just toss them around and gnaw a bit, but are not able to really dig in and get the teeth action I was hoping for. My bad! You microwave them for 90 seconds, they puff up like crazy and they Looooove them! I do one each night now to let it cool overnight, then cut it in half, still takes half and hour to go through. I will definitely be buying them again!
