Carefree R001331 Awning Gas Spring Kit
B**E
Worked for my Coleman travel trailer
I took my camper to camping world and they told me to fix my sagging awning that I would need to replace the entire awning arm because the gas strut is riveted on. They quoted me $345 for the arm and 3 hours of labor at $139 per hour, so nearly $800 when you include tax. That's insane.I did some research and saw that the gas struts actually unscrew from the eyelets. This part cost me only $35 and took less than 5 minutes to swap out. One of the easiest fixes ever.

Sturdy RV Awning Gas Spring
This awning gas spring kit is very sturdy and durable. We were uncertain when we got it for it didn't look like it was sturdy, we learned that looks can be deceiving.

Use old ends no need to remove the rivets.
Works like it should, Just remember to take ends off of old one you reuse those.

Easy install
Thus was so easy to install. Do not tighten with anything but your hands. Works best with vinyl gloves like used when dumping tanks. Otherwise very intuitive.
