Needed a moveable unit for our Garage, as during the heat of the summer days, it can reach 792 degrees inside!! (not a typo..lol)This unit has done Great and more than I could ask for given its not rated for the size room ( garage in this case) that I have it working for. It does need to be vented to the outside like normal, which was a slight challenge. (hint, look into clothes drier vent hose splitter T's)Also of note: It will self-shut down if the drain pan gets full, in our case happens pretty fast, as in a few hours. We just left the wet port open on the bottom and it gently drains a quickly evaporating stream to the small pan on the floor and will run for days without a problem with this set up.Strong airflow, Very cool on A/C mode, noise level is not nearly as loud as some reviews would have you believe, its on par with other units we've had of similar size.The portability is a BIG plus.5 stars!!! It has done everything its advertised to do & then some thus far and has performed great, in getting our garage temp back down to an acceptable temp.

Very happy with this unit. Currently living in a small apartment where the main room is 12x20 and this unit has no trouble at all cooling it down. Build quality is excellent...like really excellent and the remote is a nice touch. I'd say the noise is about average and, for me anyway, "disappears" quickly as most white noises do for me. I usually only notice it when it kicks on although even that has never been loud enough to wake me up and its right near the bed. It comes with everything needed to get up and running; no frustrating unexpected trips to the hardware store to make it work. And I like the easily accessible (no tools necessary) filters which can be washed and reusued. Now I've only had it for a month, but as long as it continues doing what its currently doing for me, then this thing is a 5-star purchase in my book.

Ordered 3, first one arrived and the roller on bottom of unit was broken, very cheap plastic.Unit is attractive, works flawless, and I will not buy againCustomer support has not help solve the problems, or refunded any money for broken units.Buyers beware.

AC unit worked great on cooling the room at max level but if you are running it on max you will not be able to hear much else. Also, it periodically has a rattle that is very annoying when using this at night while trying to sleep. The rattle would happen about every five-ten minutes and last a few minutes each time. Also, the seal provided for the window needed to be cut in order to fit a standard sized window. The main "seal" was about 6" short but when you attach the extension piece for just 6" it overlaps the airflow hole. Once I cut the extension piece is fit better but still not a great seal. Purchased this as an emergency backup in case our central AC goes out during the summer. So, for that reason and the fact that it does actually cool off the room well I decided to keep it. Recommendation: It was around $200.00 cheaper than most of the same sized (BTU) units so it just depends if quietness is worth the extra money savings to you.

Purchased this portable unit last year for our guest room that is 12ft X 14 ft. It cools the room efficiently. The noise level is high and one has to get used to the background noise to sleep. However, a few guests have stated that the background noise was not too loud and bearable and they slept ok.We are satisfied with the purchase, however, I wish that the company provided a tube to channel the condensate water out of the unit. We have to put a small cup at the outlet to take the water out and sometimes that's messy.Overall a good product.

Got it to supplement the home central air, this Texas heat is too intense this year. It's been just enough to keep the house at 72 when it's 106 outside. (Without it the house was getting up to 78 and the central HVAC would never shut off. Even better the window kit was 100% compatible with the generic one I previously bought for my 3D printer. I was able to easily combine them, (see the attached image), pretty cool, none of these generic window kits work properly on a vertical opening window.. I did have the 3D print my own trim as a 20cm spacer... (That's those purple pieces in the third picture)

It worked wonderfully for a while when I first received it. Have has some issues with noise from it, but have been working closely with a representative named Leah from their company that has been very nice and pleasant and keeping in touch with me to get my unit replaced or refunded.

The only nice things about this are the look, it’s very nice looking for sure, and it’s not huge.It’s very loud, could hear the vibration bouncing off the walls. The noise level on high and low are about the same. The air does feel cool, but doesn’t efficiently cool a room. As soon as it turns off or the compressor kicks off, it’s hot again..The sensor on mine did not work from the second I turned it on. It was stuck in “E1”, which according to the manual means a part is abnormal and the circuitry needs adjusting. I’m not a mechanic and I shouldn’t need to hire someone to fix a machine that is supposed to be brand new!! The most inconvenient purchase and during a terrible heat wave!! Could not be more disappointed. Please save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a good PAC!!
