It's ok, not bad, but a bit weak
The flavor is on the weak side in my opinion. This is chai light in taste. To get a full chai flavor like I prefer I would need to double up on teabags for a mug. The flavor is very good especially when made stronger. Though to need to use 2 bags for each mug in order to get the flavor strength I like means my full money got only half the value of teamugs of tea. So that is way I give it 4 stars and not 5 stars...I was looking for a strong chai with maybe different spice profile not a weaker chai/spice flavor in it. If you are looking for a weaker chai spice flavor then this is it. It has a mellow soft spice roundness of flavor over the tongue...like soft velvet, the longer it steeps the more of a hint of spice in back of mouth to tingle the throat a little after swallowing a sip. The tea flavor is more noticeable since the spice is taking a backseat in this chai, the tea is good and not bitter. So I think this is a quality tea, but just less spice strength (not heat but spice flavor) than I like for a chai.

Numi is the best true organic tea ever !
My family is a huge tea drinkers. We have tried so many different brands until now that stops! This put the big chains that you stop go in or drive through they have Nothing on this full body flavored tea! We started w a sampler for my son he couldn’t pick one favorites bc they all are so good. He had me order the Golden Chia 100 bags it is much cheaper that way! If you are a tea drinker this is the way to go there isn’t any of the teas that aren’t excellent! All their teas are Organic it can be tracked to the actual farm they source from! It also promotes jobs around the world as the ingredients don’t grow all in one place! Please read their missions statement on the side of the box not only are they giving you the best tea but they are doing in a way to help the plant as well! I truly hope this review will move you to try it! No more Long lines waiting for it at “SB’s” or others when you can make a better cup tea in your own kitchen for less money! Thank you Numi
