Light weight and easy to use
This is by far the best camping mattress I’ve ever had. It’s up in seconds, stays inflated and it’s light weight and comfy. It’s also cool.

It doesn't self inflate
It's says self inflating. It's not.Ps 4 nights in…... not only does it not self inflate, it doesn’t even stay inflated!

Not as good as I thought
The sleeping pad it lightweight and compact but I think one night camping would be fine, sometimes it wouldn't say up and would wake up on the floor. It seems a good height when it's all the way up, just couldn't get it to stay inflated for more that one night

Easy to inflate but doesn't stay inflated.
Unfortunately the pad did not stay inflated the first time I used it. It was flat within a couple hours and the second time I used it the same thing happened. I'm not able to return the item now, is there anything you can do to fix my situation? Many thanks

Not worth buying.
Doesn't inflate properly, too soft. Feels like lying on the floor. Have since returned it. Not worth buying.

Doesn't deflate
Great mattress, better sleep than I've had on the top brands for air mattresses. Not super easy to inflate but easy enough without an electric pump. Rolls up very nicely. NO LEAKS!

Making Camping Comfortable
We finally had a decent weekend of weather and got the camping equipment out. I'm too old to be sleeping on the bare ground, so I opted for the Tulov double sleeping pad.The bag the pad comes in is pretty small and makes for easy carrying in your pack, if you are packing into your area. The fabric is very soft to the touch and my kids wanted to take over my pad and force me to sleep on the ground. Inflation was super easy and the pad has a built in hand pump. You simply close up the valve on the bottom and then use your hand like you're giving CPR and the pad inflates in roughly 2-3 mins. The packaging says 1 minute, but I wasn't rushing it. I did end up flipping the pad over and inflated it using my lungs too, just to see how fast that went. It was very quick too and a good way to firm up the pad.Sleeping on the pad was VERY comfortable and it stayed inflated all night. In addition, the pad didn't make any noise when adjusting at night. I'm not sure how this pad would work on bare ground; i.e. in the woods with no grass underlayment. My kids and I were in the backyard, which is pretty thick grass. I would assume that the pad would do well on bare ground too.If you plan on tent camping and need some extra padding, then this is the pad for you.

Hardest thing about it is inflating
With a nearly 3 inch thickness, this pad is nearly as plush and comfortable as an inflatable airbed. The main draw for this pad is its portability and lightness (weighs about 3lbs). It packs easily into my large camping backpack due to its small size when rolled up. The inflation via foot takes a bit of getting used to, but after a few times, it really is that easy. I'm about 5'9 and my wife is a bit shorter; we both fit a bit snug on the pad, but never uncomfortably.

This is a good camping mattress but take a long time to inflate.
This will be going into a charity raffle along with a tent and some other camping accessories. It came in a larger box with a few other things from Amazon. It was packed with bubble wrap and should have been perfect. However the plastic bag and the nylon carrying bag were torn open.I have contacted the seller to see if I can get a replacement carrying bag.Note: The seller contacted me and told me they are sending a new kit and even sent the tracking number already. You can't beat that kind of service. Now for the mattress itself:I laid it out in my living room and thought it looked way to large. However that is due to it having many air pockets so it gets smaller in circumference as it gets pumped up.This is were I as an old man had issues. It took me a half an hour to get it pumped up! That's too much. I guess if you have kids with you and you make a game out of it. You know, convince them that this much work is fun, :) it would work.Is it comfortable? Hmm. Not in my opinion but compared to the cold hard ground it would help.Plus you should have a sleeping bag as well so I can see it helping. For me, as long as I have kids to help pump it up, I recommend this.

Understand what it's for.
This review is probably more for beginner campers. Much like I was when I ordered 6 different types of mats and pads for camping. I wish someone would have told me the difference between them all before I hauled 8 people out camping with me and some had comfy thick foam sleeping pads and some had air pump sleeping pads. These type of pads really just keep you off the ground. At one point I had 3 daughters put 3 of these on top of one another and make one bed for them all. Ha. So these have been assigned to hiking sleep pads. They deflate and inflate easily and they roll up tightly. They're light to carry, so they're perfect for hiking. For camping out of tentsfor a weekend we use foam pads that are quite bulky and thick. But these are for that grunge sleeping where you're really just out for the experience of the outdoors. The foot pump is a cool feature. Find the spot that lets the air in and step on it quickly about 60+ times until it's as aired up as you want it. It deflates quickly. It really just keeps you off the ground. Not the most comfortable sleep you'll ever have but way more comfortable than rocks and ground. The bubble feature of the mat makes a little more of a padded feel. I'm happy to have these. The more air you add, the better the sleep. Happy camping
