So cute
At first, since it's a children's book/story, I skipped it. But then I tried it. So cute. I practically sang the whole thing. Very quick read and fun. Good job!

Fun Story!
A fun rhyming picture book where an alpaca wants to get into the back of the narrator's car. It of course does, insisting it just wants a lift downtown. But it wants more than that. As the reader will learn, you just can't trust an alpaca!Alpaca in the Back'a my Car! has been formatted to be read in landscape mode, (holding your device horizontally) where it takes up the entire screen. Words and pictures display together on the screen like a traditional picture book open to two pages. A lot of self published Kindle authors can't be bothered to format their work and it displays like a mess with bits of text on one page and an image on a small part of the screen on another, so I always like to take the time to point out when authors care about their reader's experience and their own work enough to take the time to format it

Great Book From Children's Educator & Entertainer
Ben Farber is a great children's early educator and entertainer. His experience and excellence in his craft shines in the book. The book is mostly playful in nature, but educates in both counting and rhyming. What I enjoyed most about this book is that it's different from the current mold of Children's books. 'Alpaca In The Back'a My Car' focuses more on the playful and humorous nature of children rather than trying to over educate or over complicate kids enjoyment of literature. Great book Mr. Farber! Our family is excited for the next creation to come out of that noggin of yours.

A hit with my 6-year-old
We saw Ben Farber juggling at a community event, and were so happy to get his charming book! It's full of playful, natural-sounding rhymes that move the story ahead in sweet and unexpected ways. For example, when there are 4 more alpacas in the car, "somehow they managed to pull shut the door/" and Ben's car has "alpacas from ceiling to floor." Even the number *4* rhymes on that page, and my daughter really enjoyed keeping track of the count while repeating the silly rhymes. As a lovely bonus, this book ended up being a starting point for a chat about how helping others provides great rewards, even if we sometimes have to give up some of our own comforts. We recommend this book!
